We stayed at this hotel for three weeks from 27.02 to 19.03. Since the main building of the hotel was full, we were accommodated in the villa area. Good territory, green, well-maintained. 7 minutes to the sea. The main building has a hammam and a hall👌. It takes about 20 minutes to get to the party places and the pier. Across the street from the villa area, there is a laundry and a night market. In the evenings, there is nothing in terms of entertainment near the hotel.

Oh, we were here for the New Year holidays in 2024. With children (5,7 years old). Yes, maybe the hotel is a bit old, but everything is clean, they clean well, breakfasts 👌. There are negative reviews on the internet, well, where would we be without them. We are not picky. Yes, pigeons fly onto the balcony during breakfast, but they don't take anyone's plates. Yes, it's quite busy (we happened to be there during some conferences for Indians), but we found it even more interesting, the kids were thrilled by the diversity of people and languages 😁 very few sun loungers by the pool, but that's because of the Russians. They come out and reserve them at 6 in the morning, but only come to the pool in the evening... it wouldn't hurt to do something about this. We just came and sat down regardless of whether there was a towel left somewhere... the kids were happy with a couple of hours in the pool in the morning and at lunchtime, the "entertainers" never came while we were there. I can't say anything about the cleanliness of the water. It seemed very clean to us on the first day, but after the islands, it wasn't the same, we only swam in the pool 😂 the main advantage for us was that there were plenty of cafes nearby, eat, drink, including Russian food, because you can't feed the kids with Thai cuisine) it was our first vacation in Thailand, and we were thrilled) the main thing is not to take pointless excursions where they drive you around all day and try to sell you something 😂 and yes, the private beach is very narrow, and during high tide it's simply not there) wishing everyone a great vacation 😎 We had one big downside, they gave us a room on the 9th floor, and with kids, this was very stressful, we were watching the whole way to make sure the kids didn't accidentally go out on the balcony 😌.

avatar

The hotel is terrible, especially if you have stayed in hotels like Botani or Ravindra before. I don't know how I even chose this hotel, I must have been out of my mind 😂 The pool is small and dirty, there is no territory or greenery, crowds of people pushing around. It's a huge disappointment, nothing has changed in 17 years, it has only gotten worse. The 4* rating is probably just for the Wongamat beach.

Hello. We were here in 2019. I don't know what my eyes were looking at when I booked it. The pluses are that there are tuk-tuks nearby, a 7/11, and a food market on the 2nd street. Decent breakfasts, coffee machine. There is no territory at all, a parking lot for buses and a pool under a canopy. The air conditioner unit on the balcony is scorching, it's impossible to be there. The windows face Soi 5, with bars attracting a strange crowd. The crowd was mostly Chinese and elderly Europeans with young companions. It was boring for us with the child. All the Russians just left for the islands. The rooms are average, we liked that they provided an additional bed for free. The staff is friendly.

Today is the last day in the hotel, all 9 days there have been a bunch of cockroaches in the room.. Small, big, this evening when we entered the room, turned on the light, there were about 7 of them.. Showed a video at the reception with cockroaches from the room, they just said okay, but did not solve the problem, yesterday I also noticed a cockroach in the dining room, sitting right on the plate. I don't think that such a cockroach problem can be only in one room, because of this, of course, the hotel disappointed me, the main thing is not to bring them home, because they are everywhere and crawling through the clothes in the wardrobe.

avatar

Good morning. Where did you live? In the main building? What category room? 🙄

avatar

In the main building, on the 9th floor

avatar

Good morning! And who lived in the deluxe rooms and found cockroaches in the pavilion?

avatar

Good morning. Lived in a pavilion. Rooms are treated for cockroaches during cleaning, but saw one.

In Long Beach, the breakfast options vary slightly, even the rice is different every day: sometimes with nuts, sometimes with vegetables. Sometimes chicken, sometimes pork in sauce. The whole family was very pleased with the hotel. If Pattaya, then only Long Beach)

avatar

Normal hotel, don't worry. The furniture is shabby, yes. If it's very important to you, then you can look for another hotel. It's not critical for me, our rooms are deluxe, spacious, with two balconies, air conditioning works quietly, which is actually a problem in Asia... The pool looks aesthetically pleasing, nice to look at. I liked everything. 😊 The main thing is the attitude! Stay positive, and no one and nothing will spoil your vacation. 😊 As for the food, you won't be left hungry. Everything is fine with breakfast in Long Beach. 😊👍 We divided our vacation between two hotels, South and North Pattaya. And after Long Beach, specifically concerning breakfast, there is a noticeable difference. 100% in favor of Long Beach. 😊 Long Beach was liked. The only downside - concrete jungles... but that's for me. The hotel is large, but concrete.

Today we checked into this hotel. Quite normal. The furniture is a bit worn out, but it's not critical for me. The rooms are spacious, very much so, the grounds are beautiful. When it comes to cleanliness in Asia, this is normal) I won't comment on breakfasts, I'll try them tomorrow. First impression is good. We went swimming in the sea, the water is hot. The islands are cleaner for sure. But everyone has their priorities... Breakfasts... Excellent!!! But as they say, to each their own.) Comparing to four-star hotels in Phuket for example. The variety is greater. In terms of taste... it depends on preferences, but everything is available. Tasty. There is soup, side dishes, chicken, various vegetables, Thai noodles, Russian spaghetti bolognese, omelets, eggs, fresh vegetables, fruits, yogurts, pastries... We've been to different places in Asia, been to Thailand as well... but I want to say there is a choice for every taste.😊 Indian, Thai, Russian, maybe some more... I haven't tried them all. You won't go hungry. The food quality is good. I tried different dishes, I liked it. I couldn't resist the delicious pastries.🤣 there are fruits in assortment: pineapple, watermelon, dragon fruit, papaya... but this is our first breakfast. The soup impressed me, they cook it right in front of you, you pick the ingredients yourself... Very tasty. I recommend it. Everything is pleasing me so far. And most importantly, it all depends on the mood.😊 and here it's sabai!😊👍

avatar

Good day please tell me if irons and hairdryers are available in the rooms? 🙏

avatar

There is definitely no iron. You just have to ask at the reception. There is a hairdryer, but technically. 😊 it works, but it's quite ancient, pulls poorly... maybe I have one like that in my room. But it's there 😊

Good afternoon. Thank you for your review. And how about the internet in the hotel?

avatar

Depending on the room location... I don't have great Internet in my room. Four rooms down, the kids have good Wi-Fi. Right now I'm at the beach and catching Wi-Fi signal.😊 I was surprised.) The Internet is sufficient for messaging apps; we watched a movie just fine.

While we were on vacation last year, Indian cuisine was available only as long as there were Indian guests at the hotel 🏖. Once they left, the food choices changed 😀.

avatar

But Russian and Thai won't match exactly!

Indians are indeed in the hotel. Maybe you are right. I don't know yet. We'll see. 😊 But I think no one will stay hungry. 😊

We are staying in pavilions here. If you need laundry, walk to the right from the main building towards the store tor. There is a safe, it's 2 minutes from the sea, we don't go through the main building because of the stroller, and there are no ramps there, only stairs. We leave the hotel pavilion down the road, pass between construction site fences, and come out to a wide beach with trees. Breakfasts are in the hotel pavilions, we don't go to the main building. By the way, on this beach, there is a small strip with stones and shells, you can hurt your feet, kids wear aqua shoes, my husband and I carefully step over this meter 😂 I recommend room 3139 in the pavilions, there's a shaded pool here if you choose a room with pool access.

We have this view. In the morning, we watch the sunrise, the night city is also beautiful, and you can see the embankment. In the room, there is a small table, a chair, and an ottoman. You can do it like this: open the window wide and enjoy the street. In the photos are night views and sunrise.

avatar

Are you wearing clothespins?

avatar

We bought clothespins at 7/11. We couldn't find a rope, but we bought beach zinc - it was tied with a rope, and we made a clothesline.

Are there not enough sunbeds at the hotel's beach? Or is there shade available on the sand? Are there any paid options nearby? I want to enjoy the sea in comfort 👌.

avatar

At seven in the morning (as soon as it gets light), I go swimming, almost all the sunbeds are taken by compatriots 😂😂😂, but probably someone hangs out a towel in the evening, closer to night (because once we were at the beach until midnight, towels started appearing). For us, this wasn't a problem since we didn't aim to lie face to face with anyone, so we calmly laid our towel on the sand and relaxed (I basically won't get out of the water for an hour and a half, it's insanely warm, awesome!). But if you have a beach umbrella from Anapa, then you'll enjoy yourself anywhere on the beach if you like to lie down. We're at the sea from around seven to nine in the morning, then we have breakfast, hang out somewhere, relax, and around six we return to the sea... even the sunbeds are already free (but we don't use them 😁). Instead of straw mats, many people here use hotel towels (probably no limits on the quantity) - you return them all for washing when leaving the beach.

avatar

At 4 a.m. we arrived at the hotel and went to explore the area. So, people were passing us on the stairs, rushing to grab sunbeds 🤣🤣

avatar

We also arrived at night, around 5 o'clock we went to check out the pool, and all the sunbeds were already claimed 😂

We went for an early breakfast at 7 am today (we were leaving for a tour), and a woman with towels dashed into the elevator... "Oops, overslept" 😂😂😂😂

There is a shortage of sun loungers, yes. It's true, since night people tie rags to mark "their" spot 😆🤦‍♀🤦‍♀ But if you go 10 meters to the left, there are loungers with umbrellas for 100 baht (per day, until 5 p.m.). If you walk further to the left, the sand is cleaner (without seashells) and there are plenty of spots both under trees and without. Overall, I don't see any problems with these sun loungers.

View of the city and the construction as a result, although the super union was paid for... sea view... but you won't dig under... the sea is visible 😂😂 But in principle, it's so hot outside at night.. that it's still better to sleep with the windows closed. But the sea is certainly gorgeous! Just don't feel like going out 😁 And the hotel itself is very decent! And the sea is right there.. next to the hotel... we only came back from the sea at 1 a.m., there is still a buzz there... some are even swimming, some are just relaxing... everything is very comfortable. The room is clean, the bedding is snowy white! Our room is 1630. A huge plus of windows on this side is that the sun doesn't shine through the windows blazingly. During the day, the air conditioner is still running, so you can't hear the construction noise, and after 24.00 it's quiet, you can easily sleep with the window open. It was very pleasing that the market is within walking distance.

avatar

And at night the view is magnificent, it's not like being at a construction site. Do they make noise at night too?

avatar

No. The construction site is not noisy. The city itself is bustling with active life. Unusual. 😁😁

We visited Thailand for the first time in 2004-2005 at this hotel - of course, we liked it. Back then, life was bustling at the hotel, and there were many massage therapists on the beach. But in 2016, we felt a contrast, and the sea was releasing treated water, which unfortunately caused our child to ingest water, leading us to the hospital.

The biggest plus of this hotel is the infrastructure around it, everything is available, you can swim, taxis are no problem, Terminal 21 is a 20-30 minute walk away. Value for money. The bed is clean, towels are changed daily, and the breakfasts are good. It would be great if they also put chairs and a table on the balcony, hung up some drying racks, and it would be absolutely fantastic. 😜 View from room 1635 used to be 😢😜

avatar

Are the knocks far away or nearby? I love the north, but it's just the beginning...

avatar

From the intersection turn right, it's about a 15-minute drive.

avatar

Did it bother you to walk all the way there?

avatar

We also took a bike. So nothing bothered us at all ❤️ It's not very far there. And lots of people ride tuk-tuks down there, so we can team up and leave.

We are very happy with the hotel. The breakfasts were just like in the video! We returned recently on 29.02.

avatar

We are currently staying at the hotel, lucky for us we were accommodated in a villa. There is a café here for breakfast, we didn't know about it in the first few days.

avatar

Good afternoon everyone! We just returned home after spending 12 days at the Long Beach Garden Hotel & Spa. We really liked everything - the staff was friendly and always ready to help, breakfasts were great, the hotel itself and the small surrounding area were beautiful and well-maintained. The only downside, mentioned in many reviews, was the lack of enough sunbeds for the number of guests. Additionally, our compatriots would leave their towels on the sunbeds while they were away, preventing others from using them. However, we always managed to find a spot under the trees on the sand. We stayed on the 12th floor in room 1231 in the main building (Superior A with a side sea view). Housekeeping and towel replacement was done daily, and we were provided with two 0.5L bottles of water. The room included bathrobes, slippers, shower gel, shampoo, body lotion (all in dispensers, refilled as needed), soap, cotton swabs, a shower cap, and a safe. I really liked the body lotion - it moisturizes the skin without feeling sticky. I brought my own, but ended up using the hotel's instead. Beach towels were provided daily with a card and had to be returned by 7:00 pm. There were two currency exchange offices near the hotel, one on the left (green) and one on the right (yellow), both on the same side as the 7-Eleven. The exchange rate was better at the yellow one.

avatar

How do you like your breakfasts? :)

avatar

Hello) we liked it, I read reviews that the breakfasts are monotonous, but it didn't seem to me, but it's worth considering that every morning I eat oatmeal and very rarely eggs, so that's why it doesn't get boring 😂.

We stayed at the Long Beach Garden Hotel & Spa in January 2024. We really liked the hotel. It was big and spacious with large rooms. The view from our room of the city and the bay was magnificent. The towels were changed daily and cleaning was done on request. The room had robes, slippers, umbrellas, shampoo, shower gel, and body lotion in dispensers. They also provided 2 bottles of water, tea, coffee, sugar, soap, and shower caps daily. However, they did not provide toothbrushes, toothpaste, nail files, or sewing kits. The location of the hotel was very convenient, within walking distance of markets and a shopping center. The staff were polite and spoke some Russian and English. The food was excellent, with a separate table for Indian cuisine. The hotel had its own beach and two pools. The guests at the hotel were mostly Russians, Indians, and Chinese, with very few Europeans.

avatar

Good afternoon. Please tell me, in which room did you stay? I want to decide on the room category.

avatar

The room had a "superior city view" tag. In reality, it offered a magnificent view of both the city center and the bay, with stunning sunsets. The room was located on the 10th floor of the main building and was spacious, accommodating two adults and two children (with a large double bed and a bunk bed that can even fit an adult standing full height).

avatar

It turns out that it's a view of the city, but the operator at the company was talking about some kind of garden... and now I'm wondering which side we will be settled on.. I don't want to look at the construction site or another building..

avatar

In the photo, there is a view of the city center, that is, to the south from the 10th floor. If the floor is low, the "garden" will be visible - next to the hotel, two plots are not yet built up and there are trees growing there. In the other direction (to the north), the construction of a high-rise building will be visible. But it is at a distance from the hotel.

avatar

Yes, we have already stayed there, and last time we didn't really think about the view from the window and they put us on the 14th floor, and the view was just like yours :) I wonder what it will be like now 🧐

It was November 2023, and before that, it was 7 years ago. During this time, not a penny has been invested, nothing has been done in terms of repairs. The sunbeds are trash. We lived in the deluxe building - quiet and spacious, but everything is also worn out. The breakfasts are good, albeit monotonous. Of course, everything has become expensive for us due to the exchange rate. But the sea, fruits, massages, and local landscapes outweigh the discomfort.

avatar

Can you please tell me if it is possible to get a massage anywhere near the hotel without any damage? 😁

avatar

In any case, everyone has the same algorithm. I usually give foot massages, while my daughter did a full body massage, but it was very relaxing and enjoyable.

Well, here we were in October 2023, and it was generally not bad. We were given a room with a beautiful view. There were two beds, a big one and a small one. The TV had a Russian channel, TNT4. The outlets were normal. In terms of toiletries, there was shampoo, shower gel, maybe lotion, soap, a shower cap, and cotton swabs. We had 5 towels. The breakfasts were a bit boring. There were Indians, and their cuisine was also available. They left, and the food went with them 😀.

avatar

Is this video the sea at Long Beach?

avatar

Yes

avatar

Seems nice. I used to love this hotel but now I'm afraid because of the sea. But your video is inspiring.

avatar

But there were times when there wasn't such a big beach and sand. The water was right up to the stone wall.

I had no negativity. The staff was friendly. The beach is small, of course. There were enough sunbeds in the shade under the trees. Well, comparing 4-star and 5-star hotels is not right. The price difference is at least double. The rooms are a bit tired. But honestly, it doesn't matter. I'm not staying there for a year, after all. The most important thing is that everything is intact and working. If something doesn't work, they change the room or fix it. Just like everywhere else. Their pool is fantastic. Not a boring box.

avatar

Our family stayed at this hotel last year, besides normal breakfasts there were no other positives. The rooms were small, and there were lots of mosquitoes and flies. The staff was unfriendly, to say the least. After the flight, I had a headache and asked for a glass of water at the reception, they told me to go to my room and there would be water. There is no beach, and the sea is dirty. If you don't manage to get a sunbed by the pool in the morning, you have to lie on the floor on the tiles. My sister stayed at this hotel this year and said that after being there five times, it is dead to her! She also confirmed that there is no beach at all and she came to sunbathe at my hotel instead. That's how it is! The restaurant on the beach and nearby is three times more expensive. I stayed at Ravindre Hotel and it was simply superb!

avatar

Did you also receive toothbrushes and toothpaste when you were on vacation last year? And was there bacon for breakfast? Just asking because our friends stayed in a pavilion and they had bacon for breakfast 😀 We're just happy with breakfasts that are 60/40... When there were Indians, there were so many dishes, but then they left and there were significantly fewer.

avatar

No brush was provided to us, and since I bring my own, I didn't pay much attention to it. There definitely was no bacon. But there was in Ravindre. This is not an advertisement, as some people don't speak highly of Ravindre. However, for me, the difference was huge in terms of service and the hotel's location, because even though it wasn't on an island, the water was much cleaner in Ravindre.

avatar

Here we are, too, arrived and rushed to buy them) And the slippers there are uncomfortable, with rubber soles worn down to size 45😀

The hotel is not really new, the territory is small and the hotel's beach area is also small. The rooms are basic and there are no hairdryers. The restaurant has a pleasant sea view, and the sea view from the rooms is very beautiful. There is also a restaurant on the beach, which is a nice place to watch the sunset. The pool was enjoyable. However, it was quite dirty, even by Thai standards. I stayed at this hotel in 2017, and it was already quite worn out. The reception area needed updating, but the rooms and pool were clean. The sunset views were amazing. The building that is currently there was not yet built, so the rooms had a cozier feel.

avatar

Hello! I'll also share my thoughts. The sea is cleaner than in other areas of the city, which is a huge plus, but the beach line is very narrow. You won't find any available sunbeds by the sea or the pool during the day. We walked along the beach for about 10 minutes in search of a free one. The area is more expensive than Jomtien. Everything is pricier: massage, food, drinks. It's a 10-minute walk to the road with tuk-tuks. It's easier to walk to the city center in 20 minutes. Taxis cost 60-80 baht. Overall, we liked the hotel. It's not new, but it's well-maintained enough.

avatar

We stayed in this hotel in Pattaya and enjoyed everything. The rooms were a bit old, but the location made up for it✔️ The hotel had its own beach, and we spent the entire vacation swimming there. We also went on a couple of trips to the islands.

Hello. We stayed in the main building (not in the pavilions). We arrived at 5 am, if early check-in is not paid for, they do not check you in before 2 pm. Almost all of our bus sat (lay, ate, drank) in the lobby. Suitcases are also placed in the lobby. In the end, at 10 am, for 2000 baht they checked us into the room. You can go to the beach, there are showers and toilets there. Breakfast is available for 500 baht.

We lived on the 16th floor, we had excellent Wi-Fi. In general, I had enough SIM cards for 199 baht. The child was on social media, playing Roblox through the Wi-Fi in the room.

avatar
Irina
2024-03-20T18:08:49+03:00

And where did you buy the SIM card for 199,00? I've read that it's difficult to find a SIM card with such a tariff, but it's the most optimal option for 14 days. What do you think of the infrastructure near the hotel in general? Perhaps there are specific places where you can eat well, see something interesting... I would be grateful for the information. ☺️

avatar
Irina
2024-03-20T18:16:10+03:00

You can get a SIM card at 7/11 or Lotus. They run out quickly but are brought in quickly too. Two minutes from the hotel, on the left and on the right, there are 7/11, Lotus, massages, cafes, a market, and a street food court. The Terminal 21 shopping center is a 20-minute walk or a 5-minute taxi ride away (50-70 baht). Among the nearby cafes, we visited Lyubimy Siam, Teremok, Blue Siam, and a street food court. Teremok is our favorite. The Tom Yum there is very tasty, and there was always something for the child to eat from Russian cuisine (decent pancakes, cutlet with mashed potatoes, even black bread - but it’s so-so). And the most delicious food is in Terminal itself. Cafes for every taste. We visited a couple - unbelievably tasty. At the food court, you can also choose from a variety of foods (from pizza to shrimp). But what we liked the most was the unique atmosphere there.

From the hotel, turn left and at the intersection turn right to Cafe Teremok, very high-quality Russian cuisine, quick service, average prices, cheaper at the market, but there Tom Yum is half-empty, at least in the stall where they sell Russian food. At the market, very tasty shish kebab, I highly recommend.

Hello, we are going to this hotel for the second time, we were there three years ago. We heard that a small market opened nearby. Is it true or not?

Friends, is there really a problem with sunbeds? I will be staying at this hotel in March. And how do we resolve this situation, is there any shade? Perhaps there is a place where I can bring my own blanket to lie down?

Last year after lunch, there was a case when there was a shortage of sun loungers, but we used to go after breakfast and there were sun loungers by the pool, in the shaded area, there are few umbrellas, and it seems there are also some near the sea. But you can walk to the right/left of the hotel's beach and there will be a spot.

We only took cash. For those who didn't have it, they exchanged it at a disadvantageous rate. I'm sorry, I don't remember the amount.
