My husband is planning a business trip to Abu Dhabi in winter, and my son and I will be accompanying him. We will also have things to do there: I plan to go to the spa, do some shopping, and walk a lot around the city, while my son is already dreaming of swimming in the pool. Since the temperature will not be very high, I am looking for a pool with heating. Therefore, the selection of hotels will specifically include this option. The image galleries and prices get refreshed with the latest updates regularly. They were last updated on January 17, 2025.

I liked this hotel because of the endless pool with a sea view and the spa. Many guests have been coming here for years and call this place their favorite. Maybe we will fall in love with it too.
The hotel has three pools, including a panoramic infinity pool with views of the beach and the sea. All of them are heated to about 30 degrees. I think this is just what you need in winter. Also, the private pools at the villas are heated to 34-35 degrees.
The spacious Ocean Terrace suite was the most liked. We will find a coffee machine, a mini-bar, bottled water, an iron, and a hairdryer. In short, everything needed for a relaxing stay.
In addition to regular rooms and suites, accommodation in villas is also offered here. The houses are very spacious, some even have five bedrooms. Each of them has its own private pool.
We will definitely go to the spa with various treatments and a hammam. My husband is used to going to the gym, and there's one here, while I will be doing yoga in the mornings. There's also a tennis court. It's great that they offer such a variety.
The hotel has its own beach. Although this isn't very relevant in winter, keep this in mind during the warmer months.
I'm also planning to visit the Louvre Abu Dhabi, which is a 10-minute drive away. The Sheikh Zayed Mosque is quite far, about a 30-minute drive, but we will try to find time for it.
We will have eight restaurants and bars at our disposal. My attention was drawn to a space with a completely white interior, where eco-friendly dishes will be prepared right in front of us. Wow! I also liked the Italian restaurant with a view of the bay, and the rooftop lounge bar with panoramic windows.
The pools at the hotel are excellent, especially the one opposite the beach. The rooms are nice, and they have everything you need. I honestly don't see any serious drawbacks here. And it seems that most guests agree with me.

A hotel equally suitable for children and adults, solo travelers and large families. You can stay with a view of the bay or the Presidential Palace, swim in the pool or the sea, relax in the spa. So many opportunities in one place!
There are two pools on the premises: a large one for adults and a shallow children's pool. They are located next to each other, and both are heated to 30 degrees. Just perfect for the three of us.
Among the accommodation options, there are studios, suites, and apartments. You can choose the view from the room (city or sea), the presence of a balcony and kitchenette. Some will have a desk and living room. I would definitely choose a room with a balcony and kitchenette, as it is convenient for me. In family rooms, two adults and two children can comfortably stay. In the apartments, there is a fully equipped kitchen, one or two bedrooms, a living room, and a bathroom with a bathtub and shower.
The hotel has its own beach, sandy, with a good entry and the possibility of various water sports. I couldn't find any negative reviews about it; all guests are delighted.
There is also a spa area. Services include jacuzzi, sauna, hammam, and massage. I also want to try yoga, aqua aerobics, and Zumba classes. You can play table tennis. What a choice!
There is a kids' club and a pool with a playground. I think our child will find it interesting there, he is ready to splash in the water all day long.
If we want to go somewhere, we will check out the Presidential Palace. It can even be seen from the hotel window, and the journey takes less than 10 minutes by taxi. For shopping, I will choose Marina Mall, which is also nearby.
The hotel has four restaurants and bars. We can enjoy authentic Arabic dishes, and at the Horizon restaurant, we will try different cuisines: on Monday - Asian, on Wednesday - Italian, and on Friday - barbecue dinner. Breakfast is also served in this establishment in a buffet format. I am also pleased with the lobby bar offering coffee and fresh pastries, as well as the pool bar.
Very good reviews about the restaurants and staff create a pleasant impression of this hotel for me. I also like that there are both adult and children's pools, a kids' club. We will all have plenty to do here!

I found a nice hotel in Arabic style with a warm pool and a great beach. I noticed that there is an option to book a room with a kitchen. It would be so much more convenient for me.
This hotel will have an outdoor heated pool. I particularly like that it is landscaped, with a beautiful view of the bay, and nearby is a terrace with sun loungers and umbrellas. I love to relax with a beautiful view.
I really like the floor-to-ceiling windows in the rooms, the marble bathroom with a bathtub and shower. There's even a work desk, and many will also have a seating area or a full living room.
Residences are also offered for accommodation. I would like to choose this option, as it is convenient for families since there is a fully equipped kitchen. For a large group, a residence with two or three bedrooms would be suitable.
First of all, I would like to mention the long private sandy beach. Even if the sea is cool at this time of year, it’s still nice to have it nearby.
You can also go to the gym and train on your own or with a trainer. There's also a beauty salon, which will be very useful before an evening out at the restaurant with your husband.
If desired, excursions around the city or on water, desert safari tours, and tickets to various parks can be organized here. I think it would be interesting to visit the Emirates Heritage Village with your child and see how people lived in the desert in the past, especially since it's not far away. After that, you can head to Marina Mall, where there is an observation deck, bowling, and a cinema.
Many reviews praise the Loop Beach restaurant and bar on the beach with a stunning ocean view. There is also a lobby bar and a lounge bar with live music. The Artisan Kitchen restaurant offers a generous buffet for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Guests note the cleanliness and friendly staff. I pay a lot of attention to this, so I give the hotel a plus and definitely consider it as an option for accommodation.

I would like to mention this elegant city hotel, which is perfect for shopping and sightseeing. It does not have its own beach, but this is not very important to us.
The hotel has a large heated outdoor pool. Around it are green flowerbeds, and there is a terrace with sun loungers; you can also request sunscreen — very thoughtful of the staff.
I will mention the stylish and spacious rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows. There are standard rooms, suites, and signature suites.
The view from the rooms overlooks the embankment or the city. There is a workspace, a bathroom with a shower and a bathtub, and suites with two and three bedrooms.
Interestingly, the rooms feature iPad touch control, meaning we can remotely adjust the lighting, temperature, open the curtains, or order service. And here, there is everything we need for our stay.
The hotel has a fitness center and a spa. I liked the programs that include a workout followed by a long restorative massage.
I was glad to learn that there is a kids' club. There, children can not only find interesting activities and move around, but they also learn about how to protect the environment through games.
The hotel is directly connected to The Galeria Al Maryah shopping center, so I definitely plan to go shopping.
I also intended to visit Sheikh Zayed Mosque, the Louvre Abu Dhabi, and take my child to the Mangrove Park. It will take about 10-15 minutes by taxi to reach any of these attractions. The same amount of time will be needed to get to the beach club on Saadiyat Island.
French patisserie, restaurants of Chinese, Mediterranean, and international cuisine, a pool bar, a wine cellar, and a cigar lounge – we will experience all of this when staying at this hotel.
I liked the large outdoor pool, stylish rooms. The good kids' club is also a big plus. I will relax in the spa or go shopping while my child has a great time.

Hotel with a great large pool, beach, and various accommodation options, including villas. Nearby is the Sheikh Zayed Mosque, which I definitely plan to visit.
The hotel has a really large pool with separate areas for children and adults (they differ in depth). I prefer this option over separate pools: while my son splashes in the shallow area, I can swim in the deep end. There is also another pool for adults near the villas. All of them are heated during the cool season. Just what we need!
I like the elegant room design and pastel colors with bright details here.
There are accommodation options in standard rooms, suites, and villas. Some suites have their own terrace or balcony, and the villas have a small private pool. I have my eye on the Executive Suite with a bedroom, living room, and a beautiful long balcony with a sea view.
The hotel has a spacious gym. And I'm glad that there is also a sauna and steam room, I love to relax after a workout. I am also interested in playing padel tennis. I have heard about this game, but have not tried it, and the resort has courts available.
For children aged 4 to 12, there is the Ritz Kids club. There are many different programs, and you can keep your child occupied for the whole day. This is just perfect for us!
As for attractions - the hotel is very close to the beautiful Sheikh Zayed Mosque, it will take only 5-7 minutes to get there. Also, it is quite close to Yas Island, which has a large water park, Ferrari World theme park, and the Yas Marina racing circuit. I will go there with my son, I’m sure he will enjoy it.
There are eight restaurants and bars on the premises. The Mediterranean cuisine restaurant with a patio and garden view is open all day, as well as the one by the pool. Near the courts, you can grab healthy food and various drinks. You can have coffee in the lobby lounge, and in the evening visit the bar. I would like to order dinner at the stylish Asian restaurant, while my husband would certainly not refuse the steakhouse.
I like the location of the hotel, cozy rooms, and of course, the huge pool. I would happily spend my vacation there!
