We visited this department in July 2022 and were amazed by it. Its location outweighs the minor drawbacks that we hardly noticed. The room inventory is a bit worn out, and the cleaning quality could be better. However, everything else was just excellent. It only takes a 10-minute walk to reach the old town, with shops, pharmacies, and a market all within walking distance. The food was fantastic. We fell in love with this hotel. We wanted to go there again this year, but the prices became unrealistically high, so we ended up going to Hane Garden.

Hello! We have been to Turkey for the second time, only because due to geopolitics it is difficult and expensive for Russians to vacation in Europe. In other words, we went without high expectations, but the hotel pleasantly surprised us. Check-in. We arrived at the hotel at 1 am and were immediately sent to breakfast, and after breakfast, we were checked-in right away. Room. We had a standard room, 246, with a view of the parking lot and the neighboring hotel, but everything was green and neat. So the view from the balcony satisfied us. The room was small, with functional plumbing. The refrigerator was replenished every day. There were juices, water, beer, cola, sprite, etc. We only drank water and beer, which were good. The shampoo, hair conditioner, and shower gel were good. Beach towels were waiting for us in the room upon check-in, and we could exchange them from 5pm to 6pm at the pool, free of charge, without any deposits. There was also a simple, but very convenient beach bag. The room had very good wifi, at least 2mb/s. It was quiet in the room at night. Food. Everything was delicious and fresh, including meat, fish, chicken, and turkey. Among the fruits, I especially liked watermelons, apples, and oranges, while the others were not always ripe. There were many salads, and the seafood salad was very good. The cheeses were tasty, but we didn't try the sausages because they had an unusual color for us. There were plenty of fresh greens and various salad dressings. Delicious ice cream was served every other day for dinner. Pool. We are not pool enthusiasts, we only laid by the pool once for about forty minutes, during which we were offered slightly salted cucumbers twice — it was nice, simple, but very refreshing in the heat. We also took ice cream at the pool to eat on the way to the beach. Beach. It is located about 3-5 minutes away from the hotel. It is reached by walking along a shopping street. By the way, everything in the shops here is cheaper than in the old town. Yes, the beach is narrow, but there is always space. There are also sun loungers near the bar-restaurant, which is located across the road, where there is more shade from palm trees, so we stayed there in the first few days to avoid getting too sunburned. There is also a freezer with ice cream at the bar. The water is shallow, you need to walk about 3 meters to reach waist-deep. Wifi also works on the beach, although the signal is slightly weaker. Service. All the staff are friendly, although not all of them speak Russian. For example, the maids only spoke German. They spoke English at the reception, and there were some who spoke Russian in the dining area. But we were happy to practice our English and German. Location. The ancient city of Antic Side is a 15-minute walk along the promenade. If you go in the opposite direction from the beach, there is a Migros supermarket, and next to it are three banks with ATMs. By the way, all three banks accept cards under the MIR payment system, although their ATMs do not have the corresponding sign yet. However, for some reason, we could not withdraw Turkish lira or euros/dollars from our Alfabank MIR card, although we were able to use the same card to make payments at Starbucks in the airport without any problems. But other tourists were able to withdraw money, although they had cards of other banks. If necessary, on the MIR payment system website, it is stated that cash withdrawals and purchases in Turkey can be made at Turkiye Is Bankasi, Ziraat Bankasi, VakifBank, EnizBank, Halkbank. Guests. The hotel mainly has German guests, and we also heard English, French, and Czech languages. In other reviews, it is mentioned that there were more pensioners, but when we were there, there were more families with children. The hotel is also equipped for people with limited mobility. I have never seen so many people with strollers as in this hotel. The guests, in general, were pleasant, not many people smoked on the beach, and we did not encounter any drunk people. Check-out is at 12 pm, and extending the room until 3:00 pm costs 25 euros. We checked out at 12 pm, and half an hour later we could no longer use the wifi, which was a bit disappointing. But overall, the hotel made a very good impression, and if we return to Side, we will only stay at this hotel.
Hello everyone. I don't write reviews often, but this time I decided to write one. I flew with my sister and our two children, aged 9 and 13. Let's start with the accommodation. We arrived in the morning and were immediately given our room, we only had to wait about 15 minutes. We requested a two-room upgrade for an additional fee, but there were no available rooms. They gave us the option to choose our standard room. After reading the reviews, we already knew it was better to choose a room with a pool view, so that's what we asked for. And we got it for just $1, they mentioned the exact amount to us. In fact, I also recommend choosing a room with a pool view, although if you are traveling with young children, the entertainment might be a bit of a disturbance. But the view of the road is not great 🤦🏻♀ᦋ🙈 Housekeeping. The hotel as a whole struggles to reach 5 stars. The furniture is in good condition, but not outstanding, and I've never seen such worn-out carpeting in the corridor. We were extremely unlucky with the housekeeping. Despite giving it a rating of 4, there was practically no actual cleaning. The towels were never changed!!! The trash was only taken out every other day. I even had an incident at the reception regarding this matter. On the evening of the second day, I had two bins full of garbage (kids... you know), and everything was falling out. I took two garbage bags and brought them to the reception. When I asked why I had to take out the trash myself, the boy at the reception said I should return to my room with the garbage and inform the housekeeper about it tomorrow. I was shocked to say the least. In short, the housekeeping deserves a rating of 1 at best. However, the hotel has a girl named Darya, she is a magician and a smart girl. If you turn to her, your problem will disappear. Service. There are no words, everyone is friendly. In the restaurant, they always offer to bring drinks, and at the beach bar, everything is fast, pleasant, and there is a sincere desire to help. Grounds. There are no grounds here, only a pool that smells strongly of chlorine. But the hotel's location is such that you don't need any grounds. We have been to Side several times and have fallen in love with the Old Town, which is just a 1-15 minute walk from the hotel. Everything is nearby! Shops, pharmacies, and our favorite old town, where strolling is a pleasure. That's why we didn't need grounds at the hotel, we chose this hotel precisely because of its convenient location. Food. I applaud the chefs! Thank you for my extra three kilograms 😁 Everything was very tasty, there were several options for fish, a variety of meat choices, fruits (cherries, watermelons, melons, oranges, grapefruits, kiwis, peaches, apricots, plums, etc.), and the most delicious pastries... in short, you won't be able to lose weight at this hotel!!! Beach. It's only a 5-minute walk from the hotel to the beach, but that didn't work out for us 😁 The path to the beach goes past some shops, and you know how it goes, we always needed something 🙈 The beach itself has a narrow sandy area, the sunbeds are very close together, but it's not critical, there were always free ones available. There are sunbeds under the palm trees across the path from the bar, and most of the time, you can find a spot there without any problems. The bar is nice, we had lunch there just once, but everything was very tasty. The sea itself is simply fantastic, with a gentle sandy entrance, very convenient with children!!! To summarize, I want to say a huge thank you to the hotel and its staff for the vacation, we really liked it there and we will definitely return!!!!
