There were two weeks in September. The third time at this hotel. This year was a complete disaster. We arrived at midnight. We checked in with a scandal, they wanted to put us in the Garden building, claiming that there were no rooms available - the loyalty program no longer works. In the morning, it turned out that the hotel was more than half empty. They placed us on the top floor with a balcony measuring 1.5m by 1m. Two days later, the hotel was filled completely with Germans. And it began. Every evening there was a strong smell of rancid oil in the room, the smell was coming from the bathroom ventilation. The bathroom door can only be closed from the inside because it is very old. You enter the room in the evening and there is a stench, you open the doors to the corridor and balcony so as not to suffocate. All our clothes smelled. We later went to another hotel, tired of airing out that stench. Cleaning was normal, the cleaning lady was a nice woman, she even adjusted to us. Thanks to her. In general, all the hotel staff try very hard, especially those who have been working there for years, but the reception constantly changes. The hotel used to be famous for its restaurant, there were wonderful Turkish nights with cake and ice cream, etc. Now there is nothing like that, the restaurant has turned into a canteen with very simple, monotonous food. They started cutting costs, apparently to cover partial renovations of the main building. But there are more fruits now. The desserts are nothing special, jelly-like, very rarely delicious cakes. All from the series "you won't go hungry". The coffee has become disgusting from the machines. Do not drink any cocktails, only pure drinks - raki, vodka, beer. Germans drink them. I read in one review about food poisoning at the hotel, I did not see it, but there was definitely a commission at the hotel - they took samples from the pool. This time, there were 9% Germans at the hotel, the rest were Russians, Turks, English... Most of the German guests were people aged 6-65+, all the entertainment was tailored to them, and the female animators tried very hard to entertain them with age-appropriate activities. With our tourists, they simply don't know what to do. In general, the entire staff only speaks German. There were imported artists twice a week, the rest of the days there was bingo, karaoke, guess the melody, German folk songs and dances. In the daytime by the pool, the music is mostly European. Boring... The lift has a schedule of the animation program. There used to be a mini disco for kids. But this year there were almost no children. I would never bring my children here. In the morning, you go to the pool and there are grandmothers and grandfathers who can barely make it to the beach, they cuddle and kiss right in the pool. And there is this poor child with a float wondering how to get in there... in this love pit. The rest of the old people start drinking beer at 1 am, the alcohol level rises by lunchtime, in the evening it flows like a river. They smoke everywhere. There is a children's pool, but it's up to the ankles. You come to the beach and there are European women over fifty changing their swimsuits right by the sunbeds (completely naked), they don't even cover themselves with a towel. You turn around, and there is a non-traditional family - him and him... impossible to mistake. The beach is beautiful, it has everything you need, clean and beautiful. I'm not a prude, but the hotel administration should somehow address the behavior of some tourists within the framework of international decency rules. Put up a notice that underwear needs to be changed in designated places, the pool is not for lovemaking, but for swimming. Or write on Booking.com - hotel 16+, welcoming non-traditional families, adhering to European rules of freedom in behavior. Otherwise, the staff stands on tiptoe near these Germans, afraid to say a word in order to avoid negative reviews, and they endure whatever comes to their minds. The hotel should be managed, not let everything go with the flow just to please German tourists. After that hotel, we went to another one, where there was a very mixed group of guests from Jews and Arabs to Russians, Germans, Czechs, Slovaks, French... Everything was very decent, nothing like that at all. And everyone was satisfied with each other. For me, this hotel is now on the level of "Tagil in Germany". I give it 4 stars out of old friendship. The hotel's level is greatly exaggerated, do not overpay.
Very cozy territory with lots of greenery and flowers, 7 minutes walk to the sea through the eucalyptus alley or by car from the hotel. We were checked in quickly, no money was asked, they accommodated three of us in a four-bed room! It was big and comfortable, with two single beds and one large double bed. The furniture and plumbing were new, the room was cleaned every day, and we were provided with new towels for the beach every morning. The food was diverse and delicious, with plenty of fruits and incredible and varied desserts! The sea was clean, there were plenty of sunbeds, and there was a beach bar with drinks and snacks, where we could have a light meal or a full lunch. There was a tennis court, and the rental fee for rackets was $3 per hour. Table tennis was free. There was a small children's pool and a small slide. 8% of the vacationers were Germans, and there were also a few Russians and Poles. There were many shops near the hotel, and an aqua park was located nearby. We went to Side, the ancient city, on our own. The bus stop was near the hotel, and it took 1 minute to get to the ancient city. The price was $1 per passenger. The only downside was the lack of a disco in the hotel!! The entertainment program started late at 9:30 PM and ended within an hour, so there was no place to dance. They offered organized trips to the city with the hotel's animators, and the price was $2 for the round trip. I will gladly return to this hotel, it is perfect for a good family vacation!
