Bangkok is a popular international hub, and when I fly from Europe to Southeast Asia, Oceania, or Australia, I often have a layover in this place. I stayed here when I was flying to Australia. Flights can be exhausting, and to make them easier, it's important to rest well. For example, in a wonderful five-star hotel! There are plenty of such hotels here near the airports (Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang). The image galleries and prices get refreshed with the latest updates regularly. I chose this hotel because of its convenient location, beautiful grounds, and pool. It's a great option not just for an overnight stop but also for a full-fledged vacation. There is a gym, spa, and conference room.
The hotel is close to Don Mueang airport, which can be reached by taxi in about 20 minutes. The staff are always ready to assist with calling a taxi.
In addition, the city center is just a 20-minute drive away, and a free shuttle service is provided to Central Plaza Ladprao Shopping Mall and Chatuchak Weekend Market.
I liked the spacious rooms, there will definitely be room for suitcases. Quite a simple, concise interior, view of the pool or garden.
Reviews note that the rooms need cosmetic repairs and updates, and there is practically nothing within walking distance. The hotel is quite large and characterless.
I believe this is a good option if you are set to fly somewhere from Don Mueang Airport (it is an international airport, but most often flights depart from there to other cities in Thailand). This is the main advantage of this place, as there are practically no other five-star hotels nearby.

Large, beautiful, and modern hotel with a year-round open swimming pool, gym, and buffet breakfast. Yes, it suits me.
This hotel is located virtually equidistant from both airports in the city, but closer to Don Mueang. It is suitable if you have arrived at one airport and are departing from another, but on different days. You can reach the airport by taxi, bus, or subway plus bus. The journey will take about 30 minutes.
There is an MRT station just a five-minute walk away, and there are shopping malls and markets nearby. Overall, a convenient location, but not for those visiting Bangkok for the first time who want to see the city center.
The rooms are spacious and bright, featuring a bathtub, with a window separating the bathroom and the bedroom. The floor is carpeted, and the window offers a view of the city.
The Wi-Fi is very slow, so I'm afraid I won't be able to watch a movie or work here. Not all the staff speak English well, and it seems that the hotel is more focused on the local market.
Among the five-star hotels, this one is located quite close to Don Mueang Airport and not far from Suvarnabhumi. It is suitable for a stopover of a couple of days between flights.

This hotel is different from the previous ones in that it provides guests with a free transfer to Suvarnabhumi. There is also a spa and an outdoor pool, a garden, and a terrace.
The hotel is located 12 kilometers from Suvarnabhumi airport, which is conveniently accessible by a free shuttle. Reservations need to be made at least two hours before departure. The transfer runs in both directions every 45 minutes. Major shopping centers are located approximately the same distance away.
Comfortable, pleasant, and new rooms with everything necessary to relax before or after a flight: large comfortable beds, robes, there is a workspace. The interior is stylish and modern, which I found very successful, not too flashy, but also not boring.
I read in the reviews about the large distances inside the hotel from the room to the lobby, many guests, especially during conferences and meetings, which creates a feeling of overcrowding. There is practically nothing nearby around the airport.
One of the best hotels in my selection, and most importantly, providing free transfer — this is not such a common service, and I would choose this option for this reason alone.

Another hotel with a free shuttle, completing my selection. There is also free parking, a gym, a garden, an outdoor pool with sun loungers, and a sauna.
Suvarnabhumi Airport is only three kilometers from the hotel, and the easiest way to get there is by the free shuttle, which departs every two hours around the clock.
Rooms from 30 to 95 sq.m accommodate from one to four guests, so I could stay here with my whole family. The rooms offer a view of the river, the city, and the garden. Some categories have a balcony, and all have large floor-to-ceiling windows. The design is simple and concise. I like it!
This hotel and the previous one in the selection are perhaps the most convenient options for a stop near the airport. By the way, breakfast is served from 6:30 AM, but if you are leaving earlier, they will prepare it for you to take with you. Convenient!
In this selection, I liked the last two options the most: The Park Nine Hotel Suvarnabhumi and Divalux Resort & Spa Bangkok, Suvarnabhumi Airport, because they offer free shuttles. I love such services, as they can make transfers more advantageous.

This beautiful large hotel with a rooftop terrace, gym, spa, outdoor pool, and other joys of five-star level pleased me very much with its service.
This hotel is located 15 minutes from Don Muang Airport and 40 minutes from Suvarnabhumi, so choose it if you need the first airport. In addition, there is a shopping mall and Chatuchak market nearby, so this location is also suitable for sightseeing. The BTS subway line is very close. They offer a shuttle service to the airport, but for an additional fee.
The view from the window has always been important to me. Here it opens up to the lush greenery of the garden and Bangkok. The rooms have a shower and a bathtub. The area starts from 35 square meters, which is very spacious for me alone.
According to reviews, some guests found the rooms outdated, mold was noticed in the bathrooms, and there was a smell of tobacco smoke in the common areas and hallways.
This option is suitable for those who need to transfer from one airport to another or have a flight from Don Muang airport the next day. The hotel is a bit away from the center, but there are places to stroll around here too. So I would consider it for a stopover for a few days, especially if this is not your first visit to Bangkok.
