Good morning everyone ☀️ The weather at the hotel is wonderful. Upon arrival yesterday, I was checked in immediately at 1:00 PM. The lunch is diverse, with a lot of local food, delicious. For dinner, we went to the Fire 🔥 restaurant with the all-inclusive system; you can choose three dishes in addition to the main dishes. The drinks are the same as at the bar, some are for a fee. The paid cocktails are tasty 🥰. We had a great time. Breakfast today was also a success; they even made me a Benedict 😂. The pool is clean, there are available spots. Wishing everyone a good vacation ❤️ In the photo and video, you can see the view and terrace of the Paraders sure room. The ocean is clean. I didn't notice any dirt. Before coming, I was also scared, but it’s not like that. At least not at this moment. The beach is divided into two parts; one has waves, and the other is suitable for children (without waves). I actually swim in the calm part 🤣, while my son is in the part with waves, but he’s a thrill-seeker and my husband is with him. The room is not new, but everything is acceptable. The cleaning is good. There is some minor wear and tear, but it's not critical.
Good afternoon, is it worth taking a room with a terrace? Is it not noisy in the evening?
Good afternoon. It is not noisy for us. The room is on the very top floor. The pool in the room is very small. But if it's a family, it's better to take something like this. We will be in the room, I will shoot a video.

Hotel fauna.
In restaurants for breakfast, we usually sit outside, here it seems that it's only inside and it's a bit dark in the restaurant.
At breakfast, you need to sit under the big fans; it's very hot outside.
You quickly get used to the darkness, but it is very delicious! We were pleasantly surprised by the lavish selection.

I found a lot of photos of the hotel on my phone, maybe it will be useful to someone) We were there a year ago in January. Almost every other day, people came to the hotel to celebrate weddings, it was very interesting to watch. This is the lunch box they gave us when we left very early for an excursion, but we had to go and sign up. A sandwich, water, croissants, bananas, and an apple. We bought fruits, and a very friendly waiter washed and cut everything and brought it to us on a plate, he advised us if something was spoiled or unripe.
Did you order from the hotel menu?
We were taken by tuk-tuk to the shops and specifically for fruits, we bought a lot of them right away and enjoyed them every day. Many fruits we tried for the first time.
Could you please tell me how early you were leaving?) If the check-out is at 2:00 AM, should one expect a lunch box?)
We were supposed to check out around 3-4. I think they will issue it the same way, but please go and clarify, of course.
We ordered lunch boxes for the day of departure and picked them up right before leaving after breakfast. No one said anything :)
Yes. Everything will be issued. Both for the excursion and before departure. Just need to come to the reception in the evening during dinner.
Hello, we were there in November. About the food, everything is relative. We had breakfast/dinner. They really don't know how to cook European cuisine (the meat is tough, although the gravy is tasty). The pork was roasted, but it was bland in every sense. Yes, the tomatoes were like unripe ones. But in general, there is something to choose from. Regarding the beach. You can swim where the reef is, but the water is somewhat stagnant. We also had a tropical storm pass through. It became muddy. We went to the right, but there you can’t swim, just bob on the waves. There were waves. I think it’s better not to settle on the first floors. We sat with friends playing cards and saw a rat. The next day, they were running around poisoning something, either them or mosquitoes. Moreover, they didn't inform the tourists. And can you imagine the scene, we see some smoke coming from under the roof. What can you think? 🤔 I started to gather my basic things in the room, my son went to find out what it was... In general, it was "fun".... Slippers, bathrobes, everything needs to be requested. The cleaning in the rooms is also conditional.
In our deluxe room, there are slippers and bathrobes.

We have been here for three days. The clear chicken broth for breakfast saves us, without anything else) and eggs) By the way, there's also very tasty hash browns for breakfast. It's rare to find that in hotels. The rest is impossible to eat. The meat and chicken are dry and tough. The shrimp and fish are also quite questionable. The tomatoes are green. The fruits are not good. I don't understand these great reviews about this hotel and the food in particular. We went to the elephant yesterday. We had fish, octopus, and crab. Salads and seafood soup. We didn't like it either. The fresh passion fruit juice was tasty. In the coral reef cafe, my husband only tried the crab soup. Not bad. There are nice guys working there. We visited late in the evening. They organized wine for us. Even though they had run out of it. They went to the store or I don't know where 😂 and the wine is actually not bad. In the hotel, it's impossible to drink wine. The beer seems okay. By the way, the sugar-free cola is tasty. Tastier than in many countries. Regarding ALL INCLUSIVE. We came under this system. At check-in, we asked if the restaurants, besides the main one, were available to us without extra charge. They said no!!! We were surprised and asked again. They pointed to the fire restaurant, asking if we could go there for free, and they replied again, no! Yesterday my husband went to that restaurant late in the evening and asked if he could order pizza. They said to come back tomorrow, it’s free for you 🤣 My husband called the reception from the room and asked why this situation arose??? Why were we misled? The manager immediately ran to our room. He began to explain that we do indeed have access to the restaurants. Once a day ANY restaurant. Later, they brought us a complimentary fruit. So keep in mind, for those going under the all-inclusive system. I understand we are not the first ones they pulled this on 😂 We will go to the fire restaurant this evening. We will check if it’s free or not 🤣 and I hope it’s tasty. Because there are no more restaurants around. Also, there are a lot of mosquitoes here. In the evening, it’s impossible to sit by the pool or on the beach without spray. I got bitten all over on the first day. We specifically went to the pharmacy for lemongrass spray. It helps)
And how many restaurants are there on the premises? ❤️
3 restaurants and 3 bars. The manager at the hotel said. But we have not seen everything. We take everything at the Ice bar. Drinks and snacks (these are free for those with all-inclusive). By the way, the snacks are tasty) fries, shawarma, etc. The Fire restaurant is near us, we live in a deluxe. I like it here more than in the central building, so to speak. There’s a private pool. We have been swimming alone for the second day. It’s quiet and peaceful. But overall, it’s like that throughout the area. But it feels cozier here somehow.
Is the Deluxe a separate pool for certain rooms?
Yes, deluxe rooms are upgraded rooms. There are not many of them. And there is a private pool here.
My husband just went to the bar on the second floor. He said nothing interesting) there's just a billiard table and that's it)
Hello, how is the beach, the ocean?
The ocean, not really. But it depends on what you compare it with. Better than in Bali) but you can't really swim much. The reef truly protects from the waves. We go to the ocean and then immediately return to the pool. As I understand, everyone does the same. It's not very comfortable to lie on the beach.
Did you want to go to Fire, did you find out if it costs money or is it free?

We went, yes, for free. Out of all the options, this is the most worthy place) We left them 1000. They were happy. I sent a photo of the menu to those who are interested)

The salad and soup were especially liked)
Could you please tell me, were the drinks at dinner also free?
Yes.
We stayed at the hotel in November 2024, everything was very nice. The staff is responsive, polite, the food is excellent, and we extend special thanks to the beach guide Chanaka!!🙌

Please tell me how long it takes to get from Colombo airport to the hotel by taxi?
The taxi order site states 57 km, 109 minutes))
Good evening, today we traveled from Colombo - 1 hour 40 minutes. We did not get stuck in traffic during the day.
Please tell me, if not by taxi, how long does it take by shared transfer from Colombo airport to the hotel?
It takes about 2 hours to get there, and then another 2-3 hours to wait while everyone exchanges money and buys SIM cards.
Wow, we were taken in 1.5 hours, it took a total of 2 hours.
We waited a very long time on the bus. This is the second time we've ordered a separate transfer and bought a SIM card in the city.
Did you really take 5 hours from the airport to the hotel? Or is it a figurative expression "2-3 hours"? Don't scare me)
It depends on other tourists how long they will wander. I mean that you shouldn't expect it to take 2 hours from landing to the hotel.
Unfortunately, it is not a figurative expression. It was exactly like that for us...
Is there any dress code for dinner here? Or is it a Sri Lankan 5*?)))
There is no dress code, people wear whatever they want, of course, not in swimsuits)
Good evening. Are there any entertainment activities at the hotel?
Live music in the evening
Good afternoon. The hotel has a SPA 🧖♀️. Who has visited? Share your impressions ❤️
Yes, we didn't go, because the massage is about $100, not $20.
And is there a good massage somewhere nearby for 20? 😅
There are places nearby, and you will also be offered on the beach. Well, how good it is there or there, it's probably better for you to judge. Some people go to the city, some do things nearby, it depends on what you like.
We walk to the left of the beach in Mantra, everything is quite well compacted. But I liked it a little more in Vietnam.
Does the hotel provide plug adapters?
Yes, they provided it upon request, but the universal ones in our room were very worn out and sparked; I recommend taking one of your own with rectangular contacts.
Does the hotel staff understand at least a little Russian?
Just a little bit 🤏
Can you tell me about the food in the hotel? Is it tasty?
The food is normal, you won't go hungry, unless for breakfast), but all the European dishes are tasteless, yet quite edible. I had no problems with my stomach at all )
Good evening! Has anyone from the hotel traveled to Yala National Park? What is the easiest way to get there?
We were there yesterday in the second half of the day. To be honest, not thrilled. Several hours of continuous shaking. Many peacocks, buffaloes, there were elephants and deer, a bit of monkeys, crocodiles in the distance. That's basically it. Periodically, there were up to 10 Jeeps in one place. Maybe it's better to go in the morning?
Pavel, hello! How did you get there? Yes, I read that it's better to go there directly from 6 in the morning.

Maria, we took a car at the hotel.
What is in the bathroom here? Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body lotion? Cotton pads, swabs? Toothbrush, paste? Is all this available? Or do I need to bring it?
Shampoo and conditioner 2 in 1, there is gel, there is lotion too, on the day of check-in they provided a shaving kit and toothpaste and a toothbrush.
We had ceramic containers with dispensers (gel, shampoo, body cream). I can't comment on the quality, I always bring my own, there are also dental kits and shaving supplies, as well as a small flat washcloth. My husband said that the razor is good, despite being disposable. Bring cotton pads and swabs with you, there aren’t any. There is a hairdryer, iron, and board, at least there were in our room.
We will soon be at the hotel, we have all inclusive, with beer and cocktails everything is clear, but does wine also include? I read that it is only during lunch/dinner. Is that true?
At dinner, our friends definitely drank wine too. I have never seen any alcohol at breakfast (visually😁).
Well, we don’t need it during breakfast 😀😀 How about during the day, for example?
I think it goes like this: You have breakfast, go to the pool, and then you want to refresh yourself. You can wave to the bartender right from the pool (he will see you😁) and he will bring it to the edge for you. I've seen that. Or you can tell him your wishes, and he will deliver what you want to your sunbed on a tray👍 I've seen men approach the bar and place orders themselves. The bartenders also walk around and ask if you need anything.
The café in front of the main restaurant operates from 10:00, and on the lawn from 11:00. I can't help with the earlier time). From 11:00 to 12:00, you can buy alcohol; I can't help with earlier times, I haven't tried before 12:00).
Please tell me if it is allowed to smoke on the hotel premises?
A designated area with ashtrays near the trees has been established, for example, I saw it near the pool. I did not see any ashtrays in the rooms and on the balconies.
When checking in, ask for an ashtray on the balcony, it's allowed there too :)
We will be at the hotel in a few days, can you tell us if we should bring snorkeling masks with us? Is there anything to see near the hotel? Or maybe at the nearby beaches?
We were there in November, did not take masks and did not regret it. The ocean was restless. Swimming with a mask at the reef by the hotel beach was unrealistic. According to other reviews, you won't see anything particularly bright in terms of marine life here. So decide for yourselves (we didn't want to carry extra luggage). I won't comment on other beaches, we weren't there.
It's not the Red Sea, of course, but you can see some fish, maybe a turtle will swim by. If possible, it's better to take it.
Good afternoon. Can we take hotel towels to the beach?) Right now we are thinking about whether to bring a beach mat from home.
Good afternoon. You cannot leave the hotel premises with a hotel towel; there are signs with warnings everywhere. I don't know how serious the ban is, there's a guard at the exit. There are many sun loungers on the hotel grounds, it's more convenient to sunbathe on them, and go to the ocean to swim. Please note, if you are absent from the sun lounger for a long time, you need to leave a personal item (I remember a similar case in Cyprus). If you only leave towels, after some time you may find that the towels have been taken and the loungers are free.
I went out, but the guard recorded the room number.
I saw hotel towels on the beach. I think there are no problems. I took a small white one from the room. No one said a word, they didn't even ask anything.
If you want to relax on the beach on the sand, it's better to take a mat with you. The guys who hand out towels ask not to lay them on the sand.
Hello. Who celebrated the New Year in the hotel? Share your impressions. We want to go next year.
The buffet is luxurious, with dozens of different beautifully decorated dishes, but often it's unclear what they are. We took oysters and other shellfish, but they were somewhat shriveled and we couldn't find any lemon. A lot was grilled, and it had a very unpleasant smell. There were hundreds of desserts, but out of five cups, nothing was edible, it was just bad, only the strawberries were slightly sour. As a result, we ended up eating sandwiches with boiled pork, which were given out piece by piece, and cheese with lettuce leaves. We bought alcohol, regular champagne for about 5000 rubles. The music was so loud that it was impossible to communicate at all. Formally - everything was great, but we left hungry, with a headache and disappointed that it wasn't even possible to say and hear a toast properly. At 00:15, all the food disappeared from the restaurant. I didn't enjoy this international New Year. Now I only want to celebrate decently in Russia. We spent a week before the New Year in the center of the island and 4 days in the hotel, and luckily the weather was good, overall - it was interesting, but a year ago the Maldives with much higher service levels were 20% cheaper than Sri Lanka. That's how it is.
Not great. There were seafood, but everything was "dry" and tasteless. Alcohol is available for an additional charge. The show was also mediocre; how the voting for the beauty contestants was conducted remains a mystery. Not worth the money that was paid for it.
So the regular dinners at the hotel were better than the festive one?
We had dinner around the hotel perimeter, mainly at Elephant, it was very tasty. Many types of shrimp, grilled octopus, tuna steak, and other fish. Lamb, pork in honey sauce, etc.

Here the pancakes are wonderful! And beautifully - yes, festively elegant.
Hello, could you please tell me if aqua shoes will be needed here?
It is better to take aqua shoes for the shore at Cinnamon Bey, I was not very comfortable without them. The shore has dead corals washed up.
Good evening! I would recommend taking it. We came to the beach from Kalutara, swam with a mask and snorkel, at a relatively shallow depth we saw a stingray, a small moray eel, and my husband stepped on a urchin on the corals, luckily he was wearing coral flip-flops.
Hello) Could you please tell me where I can exchange money near the hotel?
Good afternoon, they exchange at the hotel next to the reception or when you exit the hotel at the jewelry store next to the Elephant restaurant.
Who is at the hotel, if it’s not too difficult, please clarify) Is it possible to pay for services at the hotel with a card?
In the hotel, it is definitely possible. For example, for laundry services or bar services. I clarified. For each service, you sign a bill. Upon check out, the issued bills can be paid by card. I saw they have a note that union pay is available, but I didn't specify the details.
Good morning. Could you please tell me about the dining options at the hotel? All inclusive. Can I book dinners in restaurants or only the main one?
Hello! We have full board, today we had lunch and dinner at Fire, ordered from the menu. The Italian cuisine is quite good. The portions are large. Only drinks were included in the bill. And the most important thing is that the restaurant has air conditioning)
Hello everyone! We will be arriving at the hotel soon) Could you please tell me what the gym is like in the hotel? Maybe someone has videos/photos of the equipment available there)) I would be very grateful 🙏

The room is very compact, with a couple of cardio machines and a free weights area.
Hello. Could you please tell me where to have lunch and dinner near the hotel? How much do lunches and dinners cost at the hotel? We only have breakfast.
We were at the elephant restaurant, as you exit the hotel, it is just across the road slightly to the left, and if needed, local tuk-tuk drivers are there, they will show you.
What are the approximate prices? What kind of food is it? Is it decent or simple Indian style? Please let me know.
We visited once and ordered seafood soup, rice with shrimp and some tasty sausage, shrimp (served with salad), mango fresh and lime juice, all of this cost around 10 thousand, we asked for no spicy, the menu is available in Russian, but we waited a long time for the food. Everything was delicious without any consequences😊
Today we had lunch at the Elephant restaurant. Overall, it was NOT tasty! We never imagined that it was possible to ruin a seafood salad and tom yum like this! 🤦♀️
I read somewhere in the chats that they don't know how to make tom yum tasty here at all, and I didn't order it, otherwise I would probably have been dissatisfied as well.
To the left along the beach, there are a couple of cafes after the hotel the palms, but based on experience, this time we chose all-inclusive. It seemed to us that it was cheaper this way )
Thank you. Can lunch or dinner be bought at the hotel?
We haven't tried it, but probably you can order from the menu, it's better to check with those who are there now. + there is a direct restaurant, but the hosts told us it would be $100 for dinner ) In the cafe, lunch or dinner for two without alcohol cost us 3,000 rubles (9-10,000 rupees). That's a couple of simple dishes and juice )
I was told dinner would be $100 a day for three without alcohol + $600 for the New Year's dinner. I paid for the New Year's dinner, but I didn't go for the $100 a day, as it seems you can easily eat for $50-60 for three with alcohol.
I lied, $110, recalculated from rubles.
To the left of the hotel beach. Coral Reef Cafe. The last one among three. Normal people. The chef is the best of the beach ones. Soups are just right. The fish too. You can bring your own fish, they will cook it. 1500 rub/kg.
Nearby, at the exit from the hotel (from the main entrance), there is a café Elephant, or on the beach side Coral Reefs. I paid between 10,000 to 16,000 rupees for three people (with alcohol and dessert for women and children). Note that when ordering from the “Grill” section, a salad and French fries are included. The portions are large)
Good afternoon! Could you please tell me if it is possible to pay by card at the cafe?
Good afternoon, honestly, I don't know, I can clarify in the evening. In cafes, they always paid cash, in stores and fruit stalls they paid with a Belarusian Mastercard. Adding: To my question at the Elephant restaurant: - Can I pay with a credit card? I received the answer - Yes, ok
Good afternoon! Please let me know, is there enough non-spicy food available in the hotel?
Yes, more European cuisine, bland. But you won't go hungry and there were no stomach problems.
European cuisine is not prepared very well. The meat is tough, although the sauce for it is tasty. The potatoes are bland. The roasted pork is also beautifully presented, but bland. I would say there is more food of theirs than European.
Can you tell me if the hotel provides lunch boxes for guests leaving before breakfast? Or is this not a common practice here?
You need to order at the reception in advance.
Are there any videos or photos of the hotel grounds and rooms? 🙏 I would be grateful.

We rested from November 22 to December 2.
The impressions from the hotel are good, everything is fine?
The hotel is good!
Good evening. Could someone please tell me what the situation with sockets is in the hotel? What adapter is needed? Thank you ☺️
Nothing is needed, there is a connector in the room, you can ask at the reception for one.
Could you please tell me if there is a kettle in the room?
Yes, there is a kettle. Tea and coffee are available in the room.
What time does dinner end at the hotel?
Dinner until 10 PM
Hello everyone. Please tell me, has anyone checked in here before 2 PM? Is it fine to check in calmly, or is it only for an additional fee?
Checked in early without any questions.
Is there internet in the room?
Yes, throughout the hotel, even on the beach, there is connectivity.
Guests, can you tell me if there are no hotel sunbeds on the beach by the ocean? Am I understanding correctly? And is the hotel fenced off from the ocean?

There are no loungers by the ocean. The hotel is surrounded by a light fence. And it's not a very wide strip of beach.
Is it not possible to sunbathe by the ocean? Can sun loungers be placed by the ocean? It seems interesting to be near the water?
Sunbathing by the ocean... I heard somewhere about beach fleas😃 I don't know if it's true or not. But we didn't take the risk)))
Has anyone else heard about them?
Many people write about this. We didn’t sunbathe by the ocean. No one bit.
They wrote about the stones, that they are mainly found there. It's hard to tell who bit, but there was a bite that was itchy and swollen. Toothpaste helps.

All beaches are public, there are sunbeds at the cafes for food, but there are not many of them at the hotel itself, you will need to walk to the neighboring beach.
There are no sun loungers at the hotel on the beach - it is a city hotel. On the left side of the hotel, there are cafes where you can settle down on the condition of purchasing a coconut or beer.
Please tell me, where can I exchange currency nearby the hotel?
It was mentioned earlier that there is nothing nearby, you need to take a tuk-tuk.
Thank you🙏
Hello everyone. Could you please tell me how long it takes to get from Colombo Airport to the hotel by group transfer?
Hello, almost 2 hours.
We traveled for 3 hours.
Good evening! Should I bring coral slippers with me or are they not needed there?
Take it. There are a lot of sea urchins on the reef, in some places on the beach the sand is coarse, corals are lying around - we always walk in them and don’t take them off.
Thank you. Could you tell me if there is a place to buy coral slippers or should I bring them with me?

I brought it with me. I bought it at an ordinary market in Russia. The only thing I would recommend is to get ones with thick soles, because if you step on a hedgehog or scratch yourself on a thorn, the wounds take longer to heal due to moisture. I always wear them.
1. Where to go in the evenings, is there a place near the hotel just to take a walk? 2. Which cafes/restaurants to visit? Maybe there are photos of the menu? I'm trying to find menu photos on Google Maps - the latest is from the end of 2022 (the cafe might not even exist anymore and prices could have risen). 3. Do they accept cards everywhere in the hotel (I have foreign Visa and Mastercard) and are there any additional commissions for card payments or cash withdrawals (for example, like in Thailand)?
Hello) 1. There is almost nowhere to walk around the hotel. There are some cafes, but we were afraid to go in there, maybe due to unsanitary conditions, etc. You can walk to the market, local shops, and a store that sells precious stones. 2. We structured our vacation in such a way that we actively go somewhere, either on excursions or on our own. We only come to the hotel to eat and sleep. The food here is really good, there is enough of everything. We wanted to go to a seafood restaurant, but there are so many seafood options in the hotel that we keep postponing the trip in the end. 3. We only use cash - dollars, rupees, but I bought sapphires, and there you can actually transfer to Tinkoff if you run out of money or don’t have cash. But this is only what I encountered with the stones. In the market, they only accepted cash for fruits. I don't know about the rest. I also haven't had to withdraw cash because you can transfer to Tinkoff for many things, even for local excursions, you just send it to the card directly)
Please let me know what the situation is with theft in the hotel? Are there any cases or is everything calm regarding this?
Theft by staff or what do you mean? In the room, a bag and an open suitcase were left in a hurry. Nothing was missing. I simply left tips on the table - they were taken. Strangers are not allowed on the territory. Security monitors the perimeter. I also left everything in the garden on the sunbed, went to the ocean, and nothing was lost.
Regarding the safe in the room, here’s a life hack - we took a sticker from home, wrote our last name on it, and stuck it on the safe; we recorded everything on video and walk around calmly. Nobody touches anything. There was no iron in the room - we asked for one and they brought an iron, a board, and 3 additional hangers for clothes.
Does anyone have the restaurant's work schedule saved? I'm specifically interested in dinner, until what time? The red wings arrival time is inconvenient :(
Dinner from 19:30 to 22:30
Can you tell me about the situation with mosquitoes? Are there many of them, is there a fumigator in the room?
The fumigator is plugged in. If the balcony is not opened in the evening, there will be no pests in the room.
Please tell me, is it worth buying a SIM card upon arrival? Or does the Wi-Fi cover well in the hotel?
WiFi coverage was fine both on the premises and in the room.
I have a question - can you swim over the reef here? Or is it wide? It is said that the water is murky around the reef.
We did not see anyone swimming past the reef. The water is always clear in the morning. We saw a moray eel, a turtle there.
How is the water in the evening in terms of cleanliness? :)
In the evening, the tides make the water murky. You can swim at any time. There are no big waves. We have been to the hotel twice and will fly there for the third time. There are many returning tourists.
Thank you very much) This is my first time flying to this hotel) I also chose the beach because of the reef, but I've already managed to read a lot of different things)
This is our second time going there. We liked everything very much too.
Good day. Is there anyone currently vacationing at the hotel? Could you provide information on the restaurant prices?

Hello. I don't know about the restaurant itself. There is such a price list in the rooms.
Good afternoon, I paid for the hotel using the BB system, but after reading the reviews, I think I will add dinner. Does anyone have photos of the dinner menu? As I understand, dinner is a la carte, not a buffet?
We were on an all-inclusive package. I think that those who had breakfast/lunch/dinner also ate in the same way, the same buffet.
I have never been to Asia on an "All Inclusive" plan or even on a full board. In Asia (Vietnam/Thailand/China), I enjoyed visiting different restaurants with various cuisines. Is a paid hotel Asian dinner more similar to the dinners in Turkish/Egyptian hotels, or is it akin to A La Carte restaurants? (a variety of seafood - squid/mussels/shrimps/several types of meat and fish) with local alcoholic beverages?
Thailand and China minus 😉 Everything will be minimal and + good renovation 😃 for which you will overpay.
Do you mean if visiting pre-paid lunches/dinners in advance?
Expensive hotels are not worth that kind of money, and there's no sense in overpaying! You need to go to the Dominican Republic, everything is geared towards that there.
Probably didn't understand the question. I have already booked the hotel with a BB system, but my travel agent is suggesting to pay extra for additional meals (I have to use the services of a travel agent because there are no options available on aggregator sites for my dates). When visiting Asian countries, I always followed the rule - breakfast at the hotel, lunch and dinner at local cafes and restaurants. But judging by Google maps, there might be issues with that. If the purchased lunch/dinner is equivalent to local cafes and restaurants (seafood, local fruits, delicious salads made for me, and local alcohol) - that's fine. If it's like in Turkey with a buffet: chopped salads (leftover from lunch or from yesterday) and something that only looks like meat and fish with no seafood, then I'm not interested. I want to clarify with travelers how the meals for half-board and full-board are arranged at this hotel?

Buffet is like everywhere. In the mornings, eggs are prepared separately: either fried eggs or scrambled eggs. Waffles and pancakes are baked. There is a table for vegans, gluten-free dishes, and a separate section for spicy food. For dinner, there are shrimp, calamari, crab (for some reason I always see only claws). Delicious pastries. In the evening, ice cream. Drinks during dinner are served through the waiter. Tea, coffee, water. There are à la carte restaurants with a menu. I haven't been to those either.
Good evening. Could you please tell me if various juices/carbonated waters are for an additional charge? Is there nothing included at dinner/breakfast (besides tea/water)?
In the morning, juices are available for free, tea, coffee, and water are brought by waiters upon request. In the evening, only tea, coffee, and water are free, and they are also brought by waiters. Everything else you want, such as sodas and wines, is for a fee.
Do you think it's worth paying extra for half-board or is it tastier and more interesting in local cafes?
I don't know. You see for yourself. I don't have the opportunity to go out somewhere every day. Breakfast and dinner are enough for me. The difference in the tour price between breakfast and breakfast-dinner was not significant. There are no particular delights in the hotel. Just like everywhere else.
Hello. We have planned a trip to this hotel at the end of October. Please let us know from experience if we should take a mosquito repellent device.
We took it, but it wasn't needed. It was in the room upon check-in.
I was told that the highest activity of mosquitoes is from 5 PM to 8 PM, during this time it is better not to open the balcony.
Nothing is needed. Everything is available in the hotel.
Can you tell me if anyone who vacationed here during the season also found the beach dirty?
This beach is more like a pond (it is completely surrounded by a reef, and there are no waves, it's very shallow, and the water doesn't circulate very well). There are always boats and many locals. A little to the right, there is a nice beach. To the left, there are also beaches, but the water there is always muddy due to the sand (plus, you have to consider that a river flows into it).
Guys, could you tell me if anyone has stayed/staying at the hotel, is it true that you can order a hookah at the bar or is it just a lure for tourists?
It can be done sooner, but we haven't tried. There is an advertisement for hookah in the elevator and near the pool by the dining area is the "800" bar, where a hookah is available, I think it can be ordered.
Yes, you can order) they make it and bring it 👍 The cost of the hookah is 6465 rupees.
Thank you very much, but can you tell me about the quality? I read a lot that Sri Lankans don't know how to make hookah at all.
I can't help with that, in the end we didn't order 😁 at the beach they told us it was included in "all inclusive," we didn't believe it and found out the price)
Well, yes, I have a lot of doubts about all-inclusive in Sri Lanka 😁, not everywhere are even regular drinks included, let alone alcohol, and here they have shisha)
Well, the local rum is good here)) and the Beach Boy cocktail 👍
Good day. Please tell me, if I purchase a tour with breakfast and dinner included, can I pay for lunch at the hotel upon arrival? If so, could you provide information about the cost per person for lunch at the hotel? Thank you.
Good day. 4000 rupees per person.
If you purchase a buffet lunch, the cost is $20 or $25.
We will be here at the end of the week for just one week - we only took breakfast and dinner (since we don't plan to stay in the hotel + we want to take a 2-day excursion, which means minus 2 breakfasts and 2 dinners already). Question: what is the approximate price range for alcohol in bars if not everything is included? I think I will stock up on duty-free for the week right away.
In the hotel, a glass of wine costs 1900 rupees, a bottle of champagne costs 17000 rupees. In the city, at the liquor store, red rum is 5500 rupees, Martini Prosecco champagne is 6300 rupees. It is more advantageous to buy at duty-free.
In the hotel, a bottle of Lion beer costs 1350 rupees, in the store - 470 rupees = 145 rubles, which is also a price higher than in Russia.
Alcohol at the hotel is expensive, so bring it with you or take a tuk-tuk to go to the market. A tuk-tuk to the market and back costs 100 rupees.
Is there a cafe near the hotel to have a meal?
There are several cafes, go out to the beach and turn left.
If you go left along the beach, there will be a café sunflower, sasha. I ate there and there. Also for breakfasts and dinners.
Right next to the hotel, just walk down the street, there is Café Elephant, I highly recommend it, cheaper than at the beach and much tastier. We also had breakfast and dinner, had lunch at the beach, but after going to Elephant, we no longer had lunch at the beach.
Throw me the location please
Just go out through the main gates and you will see it right away, to the left of the bus parking lot.
Please tell me, can I exchange money at the hotel or should I do it at the airport right away?
At the hotel, you can also exchange money until 6:00 p.m., but the exchange rate is worse than at the hotel. Money can also be exchanged in the village and you can get there by tuk-tuk.
Can you tell me - what is the difference between breakfast/lunch/dinner at a hotel and all-inclusive? Does all-inclusive include alcohol? And is it possible to upgrade to all-inclusive during check-in? Also, how much could it cost to upgrade from a standard room to a room with a sea view during check-in?
All-inclusive here is very different from usual. We took breakfast and dinner and never regretted it. It's hot at lunchtime, don't really feel like eating much. We went for fruits and the kids enjoyed them for lunch, once they really wanted to eat a lot, so we just ordered at the bar, decent menu. They wrote that for 100-200 dollars you can take with a view.
We also booked only breakfast+dinner, is alcohol additional for dinner? Or is there any complimentary option?
For dinner, you can either have water or pour tea yourself on the tea table... I don't recommend the water... beer for money, charged to the room, and also when checking out, check at the reception the night before what is recorded for your room - they often make mistakes and may accidentally attach someone else's order to you. I had an extra 3600 rupees, not fatal, but unpleasant... the hotel acknowledged the mistakes 🤝
Good morning! Can someone suggest where to buy inexpensive tea near the hotel? A place where someone has already bought tea for themselves?
To get to any supermarket from here

We asked the tuk-tuk driver to take us to the tea shop, it's a 7-10 minute drive from the hotel, and it's inexpensive there. Regular supermarkets don't have a selection. We're already home, drinking mango tea, really enjoying it.
There are at least two stores with such a sign. In one, a man is selling, in the other, two girls. They gave us a bunch of different teas with smiles, even something for free as a gift. We liked everything.
Can anyone provide information or suggest how to arrange a surprise for a birthday person at a hotel? Is it possible to organize some kind of gift, obviously not for free?
At the hotel they congratulate with a small cake, you can arrange to set a separate table... or what gift would you like?)
Is there no snake in the hotel?
The snake was not seen. Only the sea of groundhogs.
Are there monkeys in this hotel? I'm looking for a hotel with monkeys.
No, chipmunks and monitor lizards
Good afternoon. Please tell me about the dinners at the hotel?
Good dinners) Seafood is always available.
Good afternoon. Can you please tell me, are there mosquitoes in the hotel?
In each issue, there is a fumigator. We didn't have any mosquitoes on the third floor, we never turned it on. Although we had a little newt living on our balcony, which ate all the midges. Perhaps it also ate mosquitoes))
On the first floor, there was a local fumigator that didn't help.
There are no rooms, only individual units on the premises
Hello! Please tell me, what type of adapter for sockets should I bring to the hotel? If possible, a photo. Thank you in advance!

Here it is.
We were given an adapter for free at the reception.
Good evening! Please advise on a decent fish restaurant near the hotel.
It's easier to have dinner at the hotel, the savings are very significant, in the hotel besides all the tasty food, there are shrimps and crabs every day. The same in cafes is just a robbery ☹️
And it's better to book as part of a tour) rather than overpaying on the spot..

Tuna steak 4000 rupees, at the beach cafe
Go to the beach, turn left and walk about a kilometer to the beach with waves. There is a cafe called Sunflower and another one nearby, I can't remember the name. If you keep walking further towards the river mouth, there is another fish restaurant, Maharaja I think.

Here it is
Please let me know if it is worth taking an adapter for sockets or if there are no problems with sockets in the hotel?
If you don't want to be left without gadgets and power banks, then you should get them) They are very cheap.
Some sockets are already "designed" for our plugs, and if not, adapters are readily available at the reception.
We were at the hotel from March 8th to March 15th. The adapter was given to us for free at the reception.
How calm and clean is the ocean on the beach near Cinnamon Bey at the end of April or early May?
Thanks to the reef, it's calmer here than in other places.
Are hair dryers good in the hotel or should I bring my own? 😁 Thank you )
The hairdryer was there, but we didn't use it.
Can you please tell me about the hotel? Are the rooms normal? Do I need a fumigator? Adapters?
About the sea view, most rooms have a view of the sea. However, there are palm trees along the coastline and some tourists complain that they cannot see the sea because of the trees. Although it is a sea view. Two outlets were normal, the rest had adapters. The hairdryer was normal, it dries thick hair well. There was a fumigator in the room with liquid. But take it just in case. Our room was excellent.
Superiors are not new, but clean, a fumigator was in the room, but not much help, we had mosquitoes on the 1st floor, but higher floors are better, adapters are needed near the bed, sockets by the TV are suitable.
Is the hotel's beach nice?
At our hotel to the right, you can swim well towards the reef and snorkel, the waves are not a problem, and the water is clean)
There are none of them at all)
Hello. Can you please tell me until what time is dinner served at the hotel?
We usually have dinner before 9 o'clock, but it seems like everything is still working until 10 o'clock...
Can you please tell me where is the best place to buy fruit? And how can I get there from the hotel? Thank you 🤗 Is the fruit market far away?
There are fruit stalls in the city, about a 10-15 minute drive away. The prices are touristy, if you don't haggle fiercely. Then a local comes up and takes about 30% less. Fruits are also available in supermarkets and stores. Rambutan costs 800-900 rupees per kilogram, bananas range from 250-500 rupees depending on the variety. Golden passion fruit is 600 rupees for 3 pieces, avocados cost 1100 rupees per kilogram.
Hello, what about mosquitoes in the rooms and outside? Also, please advise if it is necessary to buy adapters for sockets, or if they are provided in the hotel?
In the hotel they don't provide them. We bought them just in case. There are mosquitoes only in the shade of trees and in the evening. They are not in the rooms. They may bite a little in the restaurant area, it is partially open, if you sit closer to the street.
On which floor do you live?
2nd floor, mosquitoes only on the balcony. They do not enter the room. There is a liquid fumigator in the room, but we do not use it.
We have mosquitoes in the room on the 1st floor, we had a fumigator, there are no mosquitoes outside. There are sockets near the TV that fit without an adapter, but near the bed an adapter is needed.
Did you bring a fumigator with you, or do they have them at the hotel?
There is a feature in the room.
Hello! Can you please provide some information about Cinnamon Bey Beruwala 5* hotel, specifically regarding the beach: - Is the sandy entrance shallow? - Is the water clean or murky? - Are there waves? - Is it suitable for preschool children to swim? - In terms of ecology, is there really a dirty river flowing near the beach of this hotel?
We stayed at this hotel in October. The storm season was not yet over, but the reef suppressed the waves, so we could swim near the hotel. Overall, I don't think the waves would have been a problem for children either. There were some parents with their children at the hotel, but not many. The water was murky. The river flows into the sea about 3-4 kilometers away from the hotel, but I cannot comment on the river's ecology. By the way, I want to warn you that while swimming, there is a fairly strong current about 5-10 meters from the shore. It runs along the coast. It's not a problem for adults as they can stand on the bottom, but it may be a challenge for children.
The beach is gently sloping and sandy, with very small waves. It is perfect for children. In terms of cleanliness, the water is of a murky color as the river Bentota flows into the ocean nearby.
There is a nice quiet place. The waves are larger at Araleya. At Cinnamon, you can choose either to be completely calm without waves or step aside and jump on the waves.
Unawatuna is considered a good beach, but there are boats..and here is a reef, but the water is often murky due to the river..is the ocean clear here now?
I did not notice much difference in the cleanliness of the ocean. We would leave the hotel and go to the beach, swimming on the right side of the exit. Near the Aralia, yes, there were no waves, but we didn't swim there because of the boats. We would go to the middle of the beach.
Good day! Please, could you tell me who is currently at the hotel and if the renovation of the pool area has been completed?
There are no repairs.
Hello everyone. Can you please tell me if there is a spa at the hotel?
At the spa hotel, the price starts at $65 per hour (depending on the program).
Hello everyone! Could you please tell me how the Wi-Fi works in the rooms?
Works well in the rooms and on the premises, even on the beach if you don't stray too far.
Can you tell me if there is any repair work happening in the pool area or if it has already been completed?
Hello! Right now at the hotel, the pool is open and they are laying tiles around the water. Honestly, it can be a bit annoying at times because it gets noisy due to them.
Yes, it is currently the most tense time, as everyone is urgently preparing for the new season.
Can you please tell me if the hotel provides beach towels?
At the hotel premises, they provide sunbeds as soon as you come to sunbathe on the lawn. At the actual beach, others are already selling loungers and towels.
Can you please tell me if there is a fitness center in the hotel? I read that there is one, but I couldn't find any photos.

There is a separate building in the hotel courtyard. Next to it is a ball game playground and a spa center.
Is there an iron in the room?
In our room 306, there was an ironing board and an iron!
There is also a board and an iron in 311.
There was no iron, ironing board or hairdryer in room 319.
Iron and ironing board were requested upon check-in, and they were promptly delivered to us.
