Top 3 cheap hotels near bars in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Since I was looking for a category of not the most expensive hotels - Rand By Wandalus suited me perfectly. Only three stars, but that doesn't change the excellent service and convenient location. There are a few shopping centers nearby, so when I arrive, I can buy a new outfit for going to the bar, and that will make my trip even brighter! Oh, and most importantly, there is a transfer to/from the airport, you can't imagine how exhausting the journey is for me, so I'll be glad to get to my room quite quickly.

As I said, Riyadh is not the most popular place for bar hopping, but someone like me can find what they need anywhere! I'll start with a nearby establishment – it's ISLAS Resto & Grill. Yes, there's no bar designation here, but they are open until midnight, and these guys have live music on Fridays. So why not enjoy a couple of cocktails in a nice atmosphere here and then head to the next bar? The drink prices vary, but the average bill is from $5 to $20 without food. That's not too much by today's standards!

It's more convenient to reach bars by car here, so I would like to visit Pizza Bar IOI. It's open until three in the morning, which means there will be fellow cocktail enthusiasts like me! The prices for alcohol, and in general the menu, are higher than at the previous establishment, but the bar atmosphere and the fact that it closes late make this place cool for me! And there's also a popular Irish pub in this city, LDN Circus - here they often broadcast sports events, but there is also music and a large selection of alcohol. The average check per person is $20 for drinks.

I am not chasing after some fancy rooms and their designs; for me, the main thing is convenience and price. The "Premium" room suits me perfectly in this sense. A large double bed, floor-to-ceiling window (but with curtains, I don't like sleeping with the light), and there is even an armchair with a table. In such a small and inexpensive room, there is even a mini-bar, a convenient thing in the mornings so you don't have to go anywhere for a drink. There is a separate bathroom, but I couldn't find a photo, although it is written that it has both a hairdryer and towels. For a party person like me, the room is just right; you can sweetly fall asleep, then have lemonade, freshen up in the shower, and go out again.

The hotel is not the largest in Riyadh, but despite this, it offers five-star hotel services. You can enjoy spa treatments such as massages or visit the sauna. There is even an indoor pool that operates until late evening; as soon as I arrive, I will try it out—it's very refreshing! I give an extra like to this option for the delivery of groceries and drinks to the room, and breakfast, which can also be brought right to the bed. After the bars, you want to lounge in bed a bit longer, but you can't refuse food!

Executives Olaya Hotel is located in the city center, near the landmark Royal Tower. And even though I didn't plan to go on excursions - living next to such a beautiful historic site is also quite nice! I'm incredibly happy that every morning there is a breakfast buffet here - after the flight, and in general each day I won’t have a headache about where to go for a meal. Wow, there is even a shuttle service, and it's only 26 minutes from the airport, I think I can get there quickly and without any problems.

Well, due to the fact that there aren't many bars in the capital of Saudi Arabia, some will definitely repeat. You can still reach the same Irish pub LDN Circus that I described above. But I also found a new establishment - it's the 10:10 Lounge. It is also marked as a restaurant first and foremost, but having cocktails until two in the morning is completely welcome here! They also often show various sports broadcasts on a big screen, so it's best to come here in warm weather, as most of the tables are outside. I noted that they praise the mojito here, and although the place isn't cheap (20-30 dollars per person for drinks), it's definitely worth it! Moreover, you can sit outside and drink - it will be a fabulous vacation.

The standard room here is a bit more expensive than in the previous option, although I can't say that they differ much in content. The room is a bit larger, and there is also a separate working desk and a guest corner. It's nice, as you can feel comfortable and free here. But what's most interesting is that it seems you can go out to the patio directly from the room. It will be incredibly cool to sit and relax in the fresh air after the bars—beautiful! I won't miss the opportunity to mention that there is also a fully stocked minibar. In my type of vacation—this is an indispensable and useful thing!

I appreciated how the spa area, gym, and even the indoor pool are combined here. Everything looks clean and new. The pool is quite small, but it seems perfect for a couple of swims to refresh yourself! Besides breakfast, you can visit the café and restaurant on-site. A good choice for meals is always a clear plus in a hotel. You can sit with snacks in the common lounge for guests, where I could find company for a bar crawl.

Ibis Riyadh Olaya Street may look simpler than others, but that doesn't make it any worse for me. Next to the hotel stands the tallest building in Saudi Arabia, and in just five minutes you can reach the city's large shopping mall. The hotel even has a restaurant where, in addition to the breakfast buffet in the mornings, you can create your own dish from various ingredients for lunch and dinner. With this approach, eating will be much more enjoyable and fun! Besides the fact that the staff will park the car, you can rent a car right at the hotel. What a great service, if I meet someone with a license, I would happily drive around the city just to local bars.

But you don't have to worry too much about a personal car here, as there is a transfer to any location needed in the capital! I love this service because I can easily get to even the farthest bar. This hotel is right next to what I described above, but for example, I will be able to conveniently go to the Irish pub without worrying about how to get there! And thanks to this, I can quickly reach the ARIA LOUNGE relaxation room - it is also not close, but with the help of the transfer, it won't be a problem. Moreover, this venue is open until five in the morning. Prices here are high, drinks starting from ten dollars and up. However, you can order hookah, they show sports competitions, and sometimes there is live music. A great place for meeting people and relaxing! I will definitely stay here until closing time.

The cheapest room is a standard double occupancy option. It is indeed very small, only 20 square meters, but since I will be alone, it doesn’t worry me much. At least it has its own toilet and shower, as well as a small wardrobe for clothes. And even this hotel has a mini-bar – a wonderful addition to my fun evenings at the bars. I’m also pleased with the quality soundproofing; after parties, I want to get some sleep and recover, and outside noises from other tourists can often be a distraction.

This hotel does not have pleasant additions like a spa area or various massages. But for me, just the transfer service justifies all these nuances! Moreover, there is a café on the hotel premises where you can grab light snacks throughout the day, for example, before heading to the bar. They also offer various laundry and ironing services. I want to look stunning when I go to the bars, so I consider these features very useful.
