My husband gave us a trip to Venice for Valentine's Day. The city of my long-time dream! I can't wait to have a photoshoot in a gondola, float through the canals, and maybe we'll manage to attend the masquerade ball. In 2025, it will take place from February 14 to March 4. Can you believe it! So, I'm already looking for the best hotels in Venice with breakfast included, and we'll have lunch and dinner in different restaurants each time. I've gathered the ten best options and I'm sharing them with you. The image galleries and prices get refreshed with the latest updates regularly. They were last updated on April 18, 2025.

Palazzo Veneziano — a hotel that can give you goosebumps! Black, gold, red — these are the colors I associate with Venice. St. Mark's Square is just 1.8 km away — quite close, and there is a ferry terminal nearby.
The hotel has a luxurious breakfast area. Breakfast is served in a buffet format, with a wide variety of dishes. There are many types of pastries, desserts, yogurts, cereals, vegetables and fruits, as well as juices. Everything looks very delicious! I also saw homemade pies with various fillings.
In Palazzo Veneziano, the rooms are unusual. Often I imagine that interiors should be bright in pastel shades to feel comfortable. But no! How wonderful it is that black and gold come together in the rooms, and somewhere silver and red. Since I am traveling with my husband, I have chosen a room with a jacuzzi for us—a unique solution! I liked the suite with a panoramic view and an outdoor hot tub.
Palazzo Veneziano — a luxurious and stylish hotel in Venetian style. It's like something out of a movie, with an elegant bar, a lounge with a library — really beautiful! In such a place, it's even scary to imagine going down to breakfast without beautiful clothes.

Ai Mori d’Oriente — a luxurious and elegant hotel in Venetian style. A historic building, close to a canal, and polite staff will assist with organizing excursions and gondola rides. A magnificent place!
The breakfast room is decorated with paintings and intricate decor. I don't know whether to enjoy the food or look around – it's so beautiful! The choice of dishes is excellent – everything you need for a hearty start to the day. I liked the variety of fresh pastries: pies, croissants, baguettes, buns, muffins – there's everything here! By the way, in addition to the restaurant, you can also snack at a table in the inner courtyard.
At Ai Mori d’Oriente, the rooms are of incredible beauty and a Venetian atmosphere. The beds have canopies, the rooms feature expensive painted textiles, unusual decorations, and paintings. I was thrilled with the junior suite overlooking the canal, and the suites in the hotel are two-level.
This is a stylish hotel in Venetian style. The rooms offer luxurious views of the canal, and the famous Venetian Ghetto is just a two-minute walk away. We will definitely find this place interesting!

- 0.9 km

Carnival Palace-Venice Collection — a modern hotel with Venetian touches. There is an amazing atmosphere created by the beautiful interiors and the area it is located in. And this is the Venetian ghetto — a district with a rich history. Just 10 meters away is the stop for the water taxi — vaporetto.
Breakfasts at the hotel are served every morning in a classic American style. The serving format is a buffet. The selection of dishes is so vast that it's overwhelming, and the amount of baked goods: muffins, croissants, crispy baguettes, and pies. Of course, that's not all! At Carnival Palace-Venice Collection, hot and cold snacks, various vegetables and fruits are also served. Just by looking at the pictures, you can almost feel the aromas!
The hotel rooms are accented with dark shades: black, gold, silver-white, burgundy, and others. There is a feeling of relaxation, a trail of mystery, and elegant luxury. I am thrilled! The rooms are modern, with a good ventilation and soundproof system, which is a definite plus. We would happily stay in a spacious suite with a view of the canal.
This is a truly extraordinary hotel with an air of mystery and a vibrant Venetian atmosphere. It is only 10 minutes from the train station, in case you arrive in Venice by this means. Convenient and close!

Hotel Rialto is located on the banks of the Grand Venetian Canal, near the Rialto Bridge. An incredibly beautiful location! The hotel itself is set in an ancient building of Venetian style.
In the mornings at Hotel Rialto, a buffet breakfast is served with a good selection of dishes. You can take a table on the terrace, and then you will have a panoramic view of the Grand Canal. The food is varied, where you will find fresh pastries, various hot and cold snacks, vegetables, fruits, and a variety of drinks. The selection is excellent!
Rooms for every taste and with various details. I looked at some rooms, and they reminded me of the movie "Casanova" with Heath Ledger. Atmospheric interiors! I chose a classic room with a view of the Grand Canal for myself.
This is a luxurious hotel in a beautiful location. I only wrote about the Grand Canal, but it is just a stone's throw to St. Mark's Square — only 600 meters away. The extraordinarily beautiful Bridge of Sighs is located 800 meters away. So this is a great place for a romantic vacation, and breakfast is included!
Baglioni Hotel Luna
- Distance from city center:
- 1.0 km
- Bar / Lounge
- Massage
- Massage / Beauty Centre
- Free Wi-Fi
- Restaurant
- Air Conditioned
- Mini Bar
Baglioni Hotel Luna — one of the few five-star hotels in Venice that I found. Simply amazing! Moreover, it is considered romantic, and the terrace offers a wonderful panoramic view. It is located near the Royal Gardens and 80 meters from St. Mark's Square.
The restaurant in the hotel is incredibly beautiful, in the baroque style, where there is even an open kitchen, and picturesque paintings hang on the walls. Breakfasts in the form of a buffet are offered in a special hall with frescoes, where you will find exquisite presentation and fresh dishes. The selection of various snacks is amazing: there are hot and cold cuts, meats, pastries and desserts, yogurts, eggs, and much more. An abundance of vegetables and fruits. Indeed, 5 stars! By the way, throughout the day, snacks and drinks are served in the local cafe Baglioni with a view of the canal.
Once I gave my mom a piece of jewelry made of Murano glass - it amazed me with its beauty. And at the Baglioni Hotel Luna, every room has chandeliers made by Murano craftsmen. I can only imagine how impressive that is! The rooms themselves are quite spacious, decorated with intricate fabrics and antique furniture. I noticed the "Sansovino" suite with a view of the lagoon.
Without exaggeration, Baglioni Hotel Luna — one of the best hotels in my selection. Elegant interiors, top-notch service, an in-house Venetian cuisine restaurant, and luxurious breakfasts.
NH Venezia Santa Lucia (ex.Bellini)
- Distance from city center:
- 0.4 km
- Bar / Lounge
- Casino
- Bicycle Rental
- Free Wi-Fi
- Garden
- WiFi
- Air Conditioned
NH Venezia Santa Lucia is located in a 19th-century building with Venetian decor. I liked the decor of both the rooms and the public spaces. The train station is just a two-minute walk from the hotel - convenient if you arrived in Venice by train. It takes about 30 minutes to walk to St. Mark's Square - not critical when you're on a trip!
Breakfast is served in a buffet format with a wide variety of snacks and sweets. The latter is great when all you need for breakfast is fragrant coffee and a croissant or pastry. However, I enjoy having a beautifully and diversely arranged meal in the morning! For example, there are meat and cheese platters, even mozzarella balls are served, cereals, muesli, smoothies, yogurts, and jams, as well as vegetables and fruits. The selection is indeed excellent!
Rooms at NH Venezia Santa Lucia resemble a fusion of modern and classical Venetian style. There are many pleasant textures and fabrics. The wooden windows offer a view of the city. However, there is an exception – rooms with small windows. I would like to stay in the "Premium" category!
NH Venezia Santa Lucia — a wonderful hotel. I looked at the map of Venice and realized that the city has such a dense development — but where is the greenery? Well, this place has its own little garden, which in my eyes only adds to the advantages.
Canal Grande
- Distance from city center:
- 0.4 km
- Bar / Lounge
- Massage
- Massage / Beauty Centre
- Casino
- Bicycle Rental
- Free Wi-Fi
- Garden
Canal Grande — an incredibly beautiful and luxurious boutique hotel located on the Grand Canal. It is immensely atmospheric, and it is easy to feel part of the elegant life of Venice here — the building was once constructed for a noble family.
In the hotel, you can easily feel like nobility, and the restaurant here is no exception! Bordeaux, gold, the color of ivory—all speak of the restaurant's sophistication. Breakfasts are served in the form of a buffet in the mornings, where you will find a large variety of homemade pastries: buns, croissants, cakes, pies with various fillings, and much more. Among the savory dishes: classic omelets, bacon, sausages, toasts, and most importantly, a wide selection of fruits and vegetables. It is worth choosing this hotel!
Rooms with exquisite patterns, but you know, there is no sense of a heavy space. The rooms are incredibly cozy and bright, furnished with expensive furniture, decorated with draperies, and in almost every one I found carved frames and golden elements. Very beautiful! I want a room with a view of the Grand Canal and have decided on the scenic double "Prestige."
The Canal Grande hotel is incredibly beautiful and has excellent service. The staff is sufficiently polite and knowledgeable to share tourist information and assist with organizing excursions. It also has its own dock, and you can arrive by private gondola. Unusual!
Hotel Savoia & Jolanda
- Distance from city center:
- 1.4 km
- Bar / Lounge
- Free Wi-Fi
- Restaurant
- Air Conditioned
- Mini Bar
- Safe-Deposit Box
- Currency Exchange
Hotel Savoia & Jolanda — a hotel with excellent amenities and a great location. For example, it takes just a couple of minutes to walk to St. Mark's Square. Very close!
Breakfast is served every morning in a buffet format. It's hard to stay hungry where the choice of dishes impresses even the boldest imagination! For instance, I spotted several types of quiche — savory pies. And I just love them! An abundance of hot and cold appetizers, cheeses, cold cuts, eggs — I’m not afraid to travel with my husband. Fresh vegetables and fruits are also provided at the buffet.
Rooms in a modern style with Venetian notes. For example, there is a complex pattern of curtains, carved headboards, and traditional colors with an emphasis on gold and silver tones. I like it! After all, we are going to Venice. I would prefer to stay in a junior suite with a view of the Venetian Lagoon.
Hotel Savoia & Jolanda — a wonderful hotel that offers apartments and rooms. I didn't even consider the apartments because I don't plan to cook on our trip. If you want to work out, there is a gym available. Concierge services are also offered, and the staff will provide information about tourist routes.
Hotel a La Commedia
- Distance from city center:
- 0.7 km
- Bar / Lounge
- Casino
- Free Wi-Fi
- WiFi
- Air Conditioned
- Coffee Shop/Cafeteria
- Mini Bar
Hotel a La Commedia — a luxurious hotel located on the Grand Canal of Venice. When I arrived at the reception desk, I thought it was designed in a theatrical style, and then I saw — opposite is the Goldoni Theater. So it's not surprising! Overall, the location is excellent and almost all the city’s attractions are nearby: St. Mark's Square, the Ca' d'Oro Palace, and others.
Guests really enjoy the rich breakfast buffet here. Hot and cold snacks, various egg dishes, a toaster for making fresh aromatic toast, cheeses, cold cuts, and much more. I like how everything is arranged at the serving area; it’s not overwhelming, and you can immediately understand how to start a wonderful Venetian morning! Breakfast can be enjoyed in the hotel's indoor dining area or on the panoramic terrace surrounded by tall palms.
The rooms at Hotel a La Commedia are bright and cozy. They are perfect for a getaway with a loved one. I also noticed that they can prepare a compliment here, which I love! Unfortunately, the rooms are not very large, I noticed they are 15-25 sq. m and I decided to go with the executive suite.
Hotel a La Commedia — a wonderful hotel in a great location, just a stone's throw away from many key attractions in Venice. The staff is friendly, and there is also a bar and lounge on the terrace, from which the city is in the palm of your hand.
Ava Collins
Hotel Moresco — an elegant hotel in Venetian style. Rich interiors, a wonderful location just 700 meters from the Venice train station. All of this makes it a great place to relax.
Hotel Moresco can be chosen solely for its restaurant with expensive antique furniture, intricate textiles, and stained glass windows. Breakfast is served in a buffet format next to an old buffet - incredibly beautiful! There are hot and cold dishes, cold cuts, fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as a variety of hot beverages. The selection is wonderful! If desired, one can start breakfast with a glass of champagne.
The rooms here are a true work of art. I would like to stay in a room with a view of the canal or one with a balcony and a panorama of the garden and the city surroundings. The most romantic of all options! Each room is unique and features an author's design with a color accent. I've got my eye on an upgraded double room with a view of the canal. Its only drawback is the small area of 16 square meters.
Hotel Moresco — a luxurious and elegant hotel that is capable of making you not want to leave Venice. And if we do catch the carnival, I will definitely be happy here. An atmospheric place!
