Soon my mom and I will have a trip to Israel. Her immune system has been very weakened lately, and our acquaintances recommended a good clinic in Tel Aviv. To keep my mom from worrying, I carefully searched for hotels that could suit us. Unfortunately, the clinic is not in a tourist area, and there are no hotels nearby. But I didn't get upset, as I found options with a good transportation system and bus stops. I also looked at other amenities so that my mom could quietly undergo her treatment and even enjoy our trip to another country a little. So, the first hotel that I noticed is the Melody Hotel - an Atlas Boutique Hotel. It is located in the center of Tel Aviv among many resort complexes. I liked that there is even a small list of wellness services available, such as various massages. To lift our spirits and relax, this will be very suitable for me and my mom. There is a terrace on the roof with loungers, and we currently need more sunshine, so we will occasionally come here between procedures at the hospital. They even provide a beach bag with towels and fruits - this is a small but very pleasant joy.

Location near the hospital

As I mentioned, there are no hotels right next to the hospital, but this option is very good for transportation there. You can take a taxi, and in about 11 minutes we will be at the location. However, if it turns out that the taxi is too expensive, we can take public transportation – buses run frequently, and there is a schedule available online (the stop is a five-minute walk away). The trip to the hospital will take about 18 minutes, which is also quite fast. Additionally, the hotel offers transfer services to/from the airport and even to other places.

I was very worried about my mom, but it turns out we can easily get to our hotel and go to the hospital whenever we want – all the conveniences are nearby. Based on all these points, I understand that the hotel is very suitable for our case!

Hotel Rooms

Comfortable accommodation is no less important for us on this trip, where we will be focusing on health. I would prefer a room on the lower floors, so it will be more convenient for us to get to the reception. The hotel has recently undergone a major renovation, so the rooms here are still in very good condition. There are rooms with a view of the city or the sea. In terms of quality and price, I think it is worth staying in an upgraded double room. However, there is weak sound insulation everywhere, but I often encounter this problem in modern hotels. I hope we have good neighbors! Also, my mom and I will even be able to have coffee and use the refrigerator if we buy something tasty on the way from the hospital. It's also more convenient to store medicines this way!

Dining

A useful point for our trip is the included breakfast. We won't have to think about where to eat, saving time searching for a cafe. Moreover, the food here is praised; they offer a buffet from seven to ten in the morning. The hotel has free happy hours - from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. During this time, light alcoholic drinks, juices, and small snacks are served. Having a little snack and grabbing a juice is a great idea after the procedures. I think we'll have lunch somewhere in the city, closer to the hospital. Or, as I see on the maps, we might find something right nearby.

Tal by the Beach - an Atlas Boutique Hotel is located on the same street and road as the previous option. It is even a bit closer to the highway and it's more convenient to walk to the bus stop without crossing the street. Next to this place, it turns out, there is also a beautiful port and a shopping area of the city. A great location for both leisure and business trips, like ours.

The front desk can assist in five languages - this is good, otherwise I would worry that there might be communication difficulties. The hotel is unremarkable from the outside, but it has excellent functionality and a convenient location for us. We will have the opportunity to visit the sauna and even quickly get to the beach on the first line after a day with the doctors. Not a bad way to relieve stress and have a little fun!

Location near the hospital

Of course, the hotel made it to my top not for its proximity to the beach, but for the convenient access to our clinic. There are two buses from the stop - one with an interval of 8 minutes, and the other - 30. This means we can catch public transport almost any time; by the way, tickets can be purchased right at the hotel. The ride takes 20-30 minutes, depending on the bus. Additionally, they offer transfers to different places. I really appreciate such attentive service. The availability of traveling in different ways reassures me and greatly pleases my mom, so we're definitely adding this option to our list!

Hotel Rooms

Either not very picky people come to this hotel, or it really doesn't have any major drawbacks. The standard rooms are small in size, but the suites are 40 square meters, providing plenty of space for the bedroom and bathroom. However, if we disregard the area, I found no significant differences between the upgraded room and the suite; there is a coffee machine, a phone to contact the staff, and a well-equipped bathroom everywhere.

The description specifies that there are facilities for people with limited mobility. Overall, I am quite satisfied with the amenities in the room, and my mom will definitely be able to relax here after her treatments. It is indicated that high-speed internet is available—I'll message dad so he won't worry.

Dining

I want to pay a little extra, but get us a room that includes breakfast and dinner. This will greatly help us not to waste time before and after the clinic looking for a suitable restaurant. Breakfast can also be ordered to the room here; if we are in a big hurry, I will ask to bring it to us or pack it to go. They also have happy hours with free snacks! Apparently, in Israel, they love to pamper their guests. My mom thinks this hotel left the most positive impression at first glance. It seems that choosing will be difficult for us.

In general, the last option in my top list is the Carlton Tel Aviv Hotel. Yes, my list is small, but I have been looking for worthy hotels for our trip based on many criteria, so I want to be sure that everything goes perfectly. The building is located at the Tel Aviv marina. It is conveniently situated next to a park - nature walks will pleasantly complement our trip. Good spa services will give me a chance to relax a bit, and the hot spring will only improve my mother's health. I would also take advantage of the rooftop pool, which offers a beautiful view. But there is a problem that it is small, and there are many people who want to swim. I think I will just come here early in the morning before the clinic, since everyone usually loves to sleep in a bit longer! The hotel description also specifies that there are facilities for people with disabilities.

Location near the hospital

This hotel is located on the same road that leads directly to the clinic, but it is a bit further than the previous option. Still, there are several bus stops here, where transport arrives every 12 to 20 minutes. The intervals are short, so you can always make it to the next one! The bus will take us directly to the clinic; we will just need to cross the road. Upon request, you can ask for a transfer to a specific location; I think it will be cheaper than calling a taxi. We will try all options and decide which is better. The bus ride is no longer than from other places on the list - the fastest routes take up to 30 minutes.

With such options, I definitely won't worry about being late. Here, the choice of hotel for this list is obvious, the staff will help us, there are various ways to get there - everything is quick and convenient.

Hotel Rooms

The rooms here are not the newest, but they are nicely furnished, and they are also hypoallergenic. I am still concerned about my mother's condition, and this point will additionally reassure me. I would choose a room on the 7th to 10th floors, where it's not too high, but there is a beautiful view of the city and the sea that will please my mother. We will have our own bathroom and even a little sitting area with a mini-bar. However, the soundproofing here is also not very good. Maybe I can address this issue with the hotel staff. Because it's important to relax in peace after the clinic.

Dining

Breakfast is served for free in a buffet format, but it takes place not in the hotel itself, but in a nearby restaurant (which is still just as delicious). Hotel staff can be asked to refill the capsules in the coffee machine, which is very convenient, and you can always have a hot drink in the morning. For dinner, you can visit the restaurant on the premises, where they prepare grilled dishes and steaks. I don't know if my mom will be able to eat that, but I'll try to taste something delicious! If we don’t make it to the restaurant for breakfast, we will order it to the room – such a service is also available here.
