I think that Bali is an excellent resort for all occasions. I have come here for both the most expensive and luxurious vacations, and to see new places on excursions, and I lived in inexpensive hotels by the sea. Now I have a new and most fun goal – to explore the bars of Kuta resort. In the south, where it is always warm and you can drink on outdoor patios – it’s just an amazing feeling.
Right now I don't have much money for accommodation because I want to spend more on my entertainment. I will find cool girls and guys to hang out and socialize with, and the locals will surely recommend me some truly awesome places with the best cocktails. The image galleries and prices get refreshed with the latest updates regularly. They were last updated on March 14, 2025.

J4 Hotels Legian is located in the center of Legian. The hotel pool is on the rooftop with comfortable sun loungers and soft chairs, and the view of the city and sunset instantly adds to my good mood for this trip. Nearby is the Sky Garden lounge, where you can relax and unwind beautifully. I definitely think I'll go there one of these days. The spa center offers various massages, and you can get a full package of services. There is a restaurant on the premises for lunch and dinner, and a café for snacks.
And here in this hotel with bars nearby, everything is much more interesting; maybe it's worth going here right away and then to quieter places!
In Bagus Pub & Restaurant, there is a good cocktail menu and sports viewing is guaranteed for me. I'm sure there will be groups of guys here with whom we can have fun sitting and chatting. The pub is not very large, but many tables are on the open terrace, where it’s much nicer to drink refreshing cocktails with alcohol. And what I also love about Bali is that it's really cheap here; any alcoholic drink can be ordered for up to 10 dollars. The place is lively thanks to large groups of friends, so you won't get bored here!
There is also Inda Bar in the vicinity, which has high ratings in reviews and many entertainment options while drinking (for example, billiards). At the same time, music plays here constantly, and you can request your favorite upbeat songs if you want.
The first thing I noticed — well-soundproofed rooms, and I really love to get a good sleep after alcoholic cocktails and noisy parties. The upgraded double room here is already more expensive than at the last hotel, but it will be convenient for me to go up to the rooftop pool. It will even have a set of a bathrobe and slippers. There is also a small seating area!
I appreciated that there are very generous breakfasts in the buffet format. In general, you can have a snack in many places on the premises, and in the own Lobby Lounge Bar, they serve alcoholic cocktails.

I should clarify right away that Siesta Legian is a 10-minute walk from the liveliest areas of Kuta, which means there are good bars and other evening entertainment here. The hotel offers 24-hour room service for food and drinks. It's very convenient because you never know when you might want to eat after the bar and cocktails! The transfer from the airport will be for an additional fee, but it's a small amount. The pool is small, but it is set in a beautiful courtyard.
Even more bars and nightlife spots open up to me with this hotel. The closest is the Out the Bak pub (it's across the street), where in a relaxed atmosphere you can enjoy a few cocktails or any other alcohol straight. The price for beer is very cheap, up to five dollars for one glass, cocktails are a bit more expensive. There's billiards, and both staff and guests are always open to conversation and interaction, the music is relaxing, making the place feel even better.
The Davis Brothers Sports Tavern bar is open until two in the morning, in a cool environment you can take a break from the heat, watch football, or just enjoy a good beer (no more than 8 dollars). The service is highly praised, I think I can even celebrate my birthday there.
There is a standard room here, which costs even less than in the first hotel. In addition, the room has a comfortable bed (which is very often mentioned in reviews) and a dressing table with a mirror, where I can get ready before going out to walk and drink. There is a tea corner with everything I need, and directly underneath it, a filled mini-bar. There is an advantage when booking even a regular room - I will receive a welcome drink upon arrival and a 20% discount on laundry services.
I really liked that the hotel has such nice bonuses and discounts, like the ones I mentioned. It is definitely worth spending a few days here, especially since I was very impressed with the bars nearby!
Rama Garden Hotel Bali

At Rama Garden Hotel Bali, I am definitely pleased with the many green areas and trees; the garden is planted around the pool, and the view from many rooms will also open onto it. This always makes the environment much more aesthetic and fresher. At the same time, there is a clean pool and a hot tub right here! On the hotel grounds, in addition to a restaurant and a cafe, there is also a mini-market where you can simply buy food. Additionally, I will be able to rent a car to briskly explore the entire resort from behind the wheel.
Living with several bars on one street will be great for me, especially since there is the Legian Pub Bali karaoke bar here. Boring people definitely don't come here, and the bartenders offer a wide variety of drinks. I immediately noticed the menu because for 4 dollars they serve a glass of wine, and for about 6-7 you can order any famous cocktail (Margarita or Bloody Mary). You can choose any songs for karaoke that come to my mind and sing them in turns with other guests. This place is definitely fun and loud, especially with such an extensive bar menu.
There is also Mick Dundee's Bar nearby, which is at the end of the street, and it's a three-minute walk to get there. The bar is very modern, and you can even play billiards and get icy cold beer for three dollars. Even if I don't find company here, I can chat with the positive and friendly owner, Mick. Cocktails are also served — for six dollars. To have a great night in Bali, I should definitely come here, no doubt.
You can also stop by the sports bar near the river, Cheers Bali by the river, although it is only open until 11, but they have inexpensive alcohol for up to 7 dollars per glass and hot snacks (burgers and hot dogs).
The "Deluxe" rooms here are significantly more expensive than the previous options, but they still fall into the budget category. It accommodates up to three people, and I like that it has a large guest area with a sofa and a table, opposite which there is a coffee maker. It's nice that you can enjoy coffee without leaving the room. There's a garden view, but you can choose to have a room on the first floor with a terrace or higher up, but with a balcony.
You can walk to the beach in five minutes, which makes me happy! Strolling by the ocean and maybe stopping by the local beach bar during the day will be very cool!
The Lokha Legian Resort & Spa

On the first beach line in Legian stands The Lokha Legian Resort & Spa, where I want to stay. Nearby, in addition to shops, there are nightclubs, and although I am more interested in bars, I also enjoy such entertainment! By the way, there is a bar in the hotel itself. I think I can grab a cocktail and sit on the open terrace by the street fireplace - a nice setting for ending a fun vacation. I learned that there is also a bike rental here; I think it's even better than cars, since you don't need a license or a sobriety check!
Dub’s Bar is not far from the hotel, they also love broadcasting sports matches, but they are always happy to see any guest, even those who are not interested in sports. Moreover, there is a pool open for guests where you can have a small party with cocktails or wine right by it. There are also entertainments for guests such as darts and billiards. When I drink, I love to compete with someone, so this would definitely suit me.
And I've never seen this before, but here you can play virtual golf – I think it's fun, especially around cheerful people. Beer here is $4, and cocktails are $5. Kuta resort is just my dream, now I know that you can relax in bars in a calm or fun way, and most importantly, cheaply – it's possible right in Bali.
I found another bar, it is further from the hotel, but a 15-minute walk is not too much, or you can go straight by taxi. The Goat Legian is open until 1 AM, but it seemed to me that it looks stylish. I read that both locals and tourists love to go there, one alcoholic drink costs about five dollars, and you can also get delicious chicken wings with it. Moreover, there are live music performances that you can dance to excellently!
The upgraded room with a balcony is very spacious — much larger than the average rooms at Kuta resort. I will be getting one with a single bed, but you can also book it with two. You can sit on the balcony in the evenings, as there are chairs and a coffee table. I found a corner with a coffee maker and a great vanity table with a mirror for evening preparations.
The hotel is running a "happy hour" promotion on food and drinks, which undoubtedly adds joy to the stay here. It is also very important that the staff works excellently and is friendly with every guest.
I would like to stay in several hotels, but to be honest, I liked the very last one the most - The Lokha Legian Resort & Spa. A very good selection of bars in the area. Overall, the neighborhood is lively and suggests constant evening and night walks, and, of course, the large room at a pleasant price is tempting!

I found a very cheap yet functional Crystalkuta Hotel - Bali. One night here costs very little, and there is a private garden, pool, restaurant, and even private parking for rented cars or bikes. Every day they serve an Asian and continental breakfast with a good selection of dishes, and the delivery service for groceries and drinks right to my room is convenient for me. There is a large supermarket across the road where I can buy local souvenirs and items for very cheap.
There is a bar nearby that I didn't initially see on the map because it recently opened - Anteraja Kuta Bali hub (open 24 hours). I haven't found prices yet, but I still think I'll go there to check it out. There's also a bar in the hotel itself. I think this place is worth staying for a few days for more relaxed and quiet evenings with cocktails, but that's also great; in such an environment, I'll surely make some acquaintances!
Yes, I would like to mention the rooms separately because even a "Deluxe" is not expensive here, and I think it's possible to stay for a few days in a room with better conditions. The windows overlook part of the garden, which means it will be quieter in the evenings than if the view were on a city street. In the bathroom, I will be provided with shower amenities and towels, and there will be a mini-bar in the room - so many nice things already in the first hotel.
In addition to a good selection of rooms and dining services, the hotel offers entertainment such as culinary master classes and karaoke in the evenings. Excellent!
