Akana Boutique Hotel is a stylish hotel in Sanur, just a 5-minute walk from the beach. I liked the presence of a small outdoor swimming pool in the shade. It is surrounded by sun loungers, and it is very pleasant to relax here with a book or phone in hand.

The nearest beach, Mertasari, is just a 7-minute walk away, and guests can use umbrellas and sunbeds for free at Akana Beach Club. Mertasari is a small beach at the very edge of Sanur, only 200 meters long, with a lush abundance of greenery. The entire beachfront is shaded by trees, and there is a walking path where you can jog in the mornings or stroll in the evenings. It is a very quiet, serene beach.

There are also other interesting beaches and locations nearby – Matahari Terbit Beach and Turtle Island Serangan are located 4 km away.

The hotel features a restaurant and a bar. The main street of Sanur, with many shops and restaurants, is also within walking distance.

One of the best hotels in Kuta, Amnaya Resort Kuta, impressed me with its coziness, spa services, and restaurant.

The hotel is very well located: on one side, there are many restaurants and shops nearby, and on the other, it is quite peaceful here. Kuta Beach is good for surfers of all levels, with a sandy and safe bottom.

Amnaya Resort Kuta is only 100 meters from the Waterbom Bali water park and the Discovery Shopping Mall, as well as 300 meters from the center of Kuta.

This cozy resort in Kuta offers spacious modern and stylish rooms with a balcony. The hotel features an outdoor pool, a fitness center, and an aromatic herb garden. The rooms are decorated in a combination of rustic and modern styles, equipped with air conditioning, a comfortable seating area, a safe, and a mini-bar. As the name suggests, Surf Motel — this is a budget hotel for surfers. Despite the name "motel" and possible associations with that word, the interior here is very stylish and minimalistic, the rooms are clean, and the amenities are sufficient for a comfortable stay.

Surf Motel is located in the Canggu beach area. Batu Bolong Beach is just 500 meters from the hotel, and Vue beach club is 2 km away. Batu Bolong Beach is an excellent surfing beach, vast in length. The sand here is dense, making it pleasant for walking and running. Also nearby is Echo Beach, famous for its beautiful sunsets.

The hotel is within walking distance from the popular coworking space Dojo Bali and La Briza beach club.

On the roof of the hotel, there is a swimming pool and a bar, offering a panoramic view of the hills and the sea. Some rooms have a balcony, and all have a workspace. The room size is small, just 18 square meters.

Aston Canggu Beach Resort — a modern and stylish resort in the popular area of Bali, Canggu. I enjoyed the hotel terrace with loungers, comfortable chairs, and swings. It will be a nice place to spend time (especially at sunset) and to sunbathe a little. The hotel has a gym, a terrace for weddings or a secluded romantic dinner, where everything will be arranged for you according to your wishes. 

The hotel is located near two beaches: just 200 meters from Batu Bolong Beach, 700 meters from Echo Beach, and 900 meters from Berawa Beach. Just a couple of minutes and you are at the nearest beach. There are also many restaurants, bars, and clubs in the vicinity. Aston Canggu is in the heart of Canggu, so the life here never sleeps.

The last hotel in my selection is certainly not the last in quality, because each hotel in this selection is good in its own way. Novotel Bali Benoa — a Balinese-style hotel located on the edge of Tanjung Benoa with a view of the beach. 

Tanjung Benoa — a cape in the south of Bali. Here you will find a good gentle beach, strong waves are rare, so the area is more suitable for swimming than for surfing. The sand is fine and light, and the water is clear. This place was discovered by tourists relatively recently, but it has already become very popular. 

The hotel is located 25 minutes away from Kuta.

At Novotel Bali Benoa, guests have access to three swimming pools and two jacuzzis.

The rooms are decorated with dark wood, and from their balconies, there is a view of the tropical garden.

Guests can spend time productively in the fitness center or relax with a massage at the spa. A buffet breakfast is served at the Uluwatu restaurant, while the Cocos restaurant offers international and Indonesian cuisine right on the beach. The hotel also features 24-hour room service, and there are three bars for ordering drinks and snacks.

In my opinion, the level of amenities at this hotel corresponds well to 5*, yet the price for accommodation is still quite reasonable. I liked the spacious rooms (from 42 square meters), the presence of a balcony in each of them, three pools, and the beautiful grounds.
