When I saw the main photo of Sarokhaz Panzio, I immediately decided that I needed to add it to the selection. The word panzio in the name means "guesthouse," and this mini-hotel is located in a very beautiful house with a cozy area.

It takes 5-7 minutes to get from the hotel to the airport, and a 24-hour transfer is available for an additional fee.

The Ferihegy train station and rental car company offices are also nearby. So this option is a great starting or finishing point for a road trip across Europe.

The hotel has a tennis court and a large parking lot, parking there will be cheaper than parking directly at the airport. All rooms have balconies with flowers, and there is also a spa center with a hot tub, infrared sauna, and massage services.

Here you can even stay with pets. Guests write about comfortable, cozy rooms with good sound insulation.

A good option for a budget hotel for one night near the airport. It has a rustic vibe, simple amenities, and modest interiors. But here, I am sure, I will be checked in or taken to the airport at any time of day or night, and I won't go hungry. There is a restaurant serving Hungarian cuisine, and snacks and drinks are sold at the reception in case you want to eat late at night.

This option is completely different from the previous one - it is a well-known international chain in a modern style. The atmosphere here is quite different, more businesslike, and there is a large flow of guests through this hotel. By the way, pets are also allowed here, but this type of hotel appeals to me less.

The building is just a few steps from Ferenc Liszt International Airport, easily reachable by foot in three minutes, even with a suitcase. The location is advantageous!

The hotel has paid parking, and nearby there are car rental companies.

I've also learned that it's convenient to get from the city center and the airport by bus on the 100E route.

Guests of the hotel are offered a breakfast in the format of a buffet, with vegetarian and gluten-free dishes available upon request. Breakfast starts at 4 AM, so it's practically impossible to miss it.

I was also pleased to find that there is a restaurant serving international cuisine.

This cozy hotel is located in a small two-story house. There is a very nice area with plenty of wooden furniture, a terrace, and flowers. In the garden, there is a barbecue and picnic area, as well as a drinking water fountain. The building even has a wine cellar, and wine tasting is available upon request!

The hotel is located five kilometers from the airport, getting to and from it is very simple and quick by taxi. 

Right nearby in the town of Veshes, there is everything you need: a market, shops, restaurants, a playground, parking. A five-minute walk and we are at the train station, from where you can go to the center of Budapest or other cities. 

Guests note in their reviews that not all staff speak English, the rooms are too small (especially those for 1-2 people, they are really only 12 sq. m), and the sound insulation is poor. But all this is quite justified by the fact that the hotel is quite budget-friendly and is in a convenient location. 

I would choose this hotel for a trip with children because a room for three can comfortably accommodate two children and two adults. This option is very convenient for those traveling at night or early in the morning. The reception is open 24 hours, and check-in is very quick.

Completing my selection is a good four-star hotel in a modern style. The Airport Hotel Budapest has a restaurant and bar, sauna, spa, conference room, a small gym, and even tables for table tennis. Guests are provided with free airport transfers, which is always very pleasant.

Just five minutes by shuttle – and we are at the airport or, on the contrary, have arrived from it. The transfer departs approximately every half hour.

If we arrive at terminal two, we need to go down to the departure level in zone six and call the hotel. The bus will come for us in a few minutes.

I liked that this hotel has a transfer service, a restaurant, a spa center, and the reception all work around the clock, because the airport never sleeps either. Check-in and check-out are very quick and save time.

I was happy to learn that they allow pets for an additional fee.

The hotel is a little "tired" and needs renovation, but I am sure it will meet all my needs. Firstly, it is close to the airport and is needed for convenient transfer and the possibility to rest well. Both of these are available here.
