We love traveling as a family, but we have never been to Bali. I became curious if there are good family hotels there, and it turns out there are quite a few. In this selection, I included the ones I liked the most. Now both my husband and I, as well as the kids, can't wait for the vacation to finally see the island in person. The image galleries and prices get refreshed with the latest updates regularly. They were last updated on January 17, 2025.

Some guests without children have complained that this hotel resembles a large children's playground. For us, this is definitely a plus. The happier the little ones are, the more rested we will be!
The hotel has two children's clubs: for ages 3-8 and for ages 6-12. The first one offers creative activities, games, and disco nights. In the second club, the kids engage in rock climbing, tabletop games, and touchscreen games, as well as foosball. There is also a reading corner and creative activities. For teenagers aged 9-15, there is a special zone with board games, creative activities, and sports training. Girls can have Balinese braids done for an additional fee. I believe our guests will surely find something for themselves. Moreover, the entertainment in the hotel doesn't end there. The sports center regularly holds yoga and tennis classes for children. There are also classes in Balinese dance. Additionally, there are fun activities for the whole family: a bonfire on the beach with marshmallow roasting and cinema under the stars.
The children's pool is simply great! There are several water slides and tipping buckets. It is called Splash and fully lives up to its name. For an additional fee, swimming lessons can be taken for children over 6 years old. Adults also swim here. For example, in the pools on the beach or in the courtyard. There is even a separate one for women.
The hotel is located on Geger beach. The sand is soft, the water is warm – perfect for swimming with children. There are plenty of changing cabins and sun loungers available. You can go kayaking with the little ones. There is a large bouncy castle on the beach.
Even before breakfast, the hotel offers morning group workouts. I would like to join the aerial yoga if I can wake up by 7 a.m. But actually, there are a lot of sports activities available throughout the day: dancing, aqua aerobics, water polo, and Pilates. Plus, there is a gym and a tennis court. The sound therapy sessions with Tibetan bowls and watsu are also interesting - relaxing activities in the water. Of course, there is a spa center with a huge range of treatments. You can choose a full-day program or just go for a relaxing massage.
The resort is large, and it’s better to request a room closer to the areas you need. For example, closer to the kids' club.
The most luxurious accommodation option for families is the Royal Sapphire family suite. It is very spacious, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a separate living room. It can accommodate two adults and two children, and an extra bed can also be requested. There is a smaller family suite available, which is almost on the beach.
There is also the Mulia Signature room. It has enough space for a family with 1-2 children. This room has direct access to the lagoon pool and a private courtyard, plus it is close to the restaurants.
In the hotel restaurants, you can try Mediterranean, Chinese, and Japanese cuisine. There is a cafe with French pastries, and also a dessert room, which is open all day. The children's menu in all restaurants is roughly the same, and according to reviews, little guests always found something to eat.
This hotel is definitely designed for family vacations. There are activities to enjoy in the pool, on the beach, in the restaurant, fitness center, and of course, in the club.

Hotel with a large territory, surrounded by jungles and rice fields. Little ones can play in the kids' club or in the treehouse, while adults can practice yoga or relax in the spa.
The kids' club is open for different ages from 4 to 12 years old. They hold creative, dance, and sports activities, and offer board games and outdoor games. The treehouse is open all day. I would like to ride bikes with the whole family through the rice fields. We can also have a picnic in the mountain valley. By the way, you can not only look at the rice fields but also try your hand as a farmer. Both children and adults will learn how to plant rice, and then they will taste a traditional farmer's lunch. Another helpful service is the shuttle to the center of Ubud and back. It's inconvenient to travel by taxi with such a large group.
I have never seen such a variety of yoga activities in any hotel. Have you ever heard of Laughter Yoga? Or hot stone yoga? I became curious! Also, for sports enthusiasts, a 24-hour fitness center is available. And for relaxation, there is a steam room, sauna, jacuzzi, and spa. I also found the cooking class interesting, where you can not only learn about different local dishes but also prepare them yourself. There are classes for painting and Balinese dance for both children and adults.
The family suite accommodates two adults and two children, extra beds are provided. It is located close to various entertainment options. Other suite options are slightly smaller, but still have enough space for the whole family. The hotel also offers very spacious villas for several families vacationing together. Each villa will have a terrace, and some will have a private pool.
The most wonderful thing for us here is that children aged 5 to 12 eat for half price, and toddlers up to 4 years old eat for free. There is a separate menu for them in each restaurant. We will be able to try local Indonesian cuisine, as well as Mediterranean dishes. There is also a snack bar.
Here you will find comfortable suites and villas, a great kids' club, nature all around, and a shuttle to the city. I really like all of this. And of course, the discounts on dining for little guests are appealing.

In this hotel, guests note the attentive and friendly attitude towards children. I also chose it because of the nice beach, as in Bali, it is not always convenient to swim with toddlers due to the strong waves.
The hotel has a kids' club. According to reviews, it is small, but everyone was satisfied with the animators, whom the little ones loved very much. Two hours in the club are free, and for an additional fee, you can arrange for half-day or full-day stays. You will also find a reading corner with books for different ages. In the fitness center, you can rent bicycles and go for a family ride. I even read that children were provided with bicycles to move around the hotel grounds. I think it's a great idea! Additionally, the staff can organize a picnic for our family in a wigwam with tea and sweets right on the villa's grounds. Moreover, you can access the outdoor cinema – a great option for spending the evening. The hotel pools, with saltwater and freshwater, are suitable for both children and adults.
The beach has soft sand, a gentle slope, and the waves are not strong, so it is safe to swim with children.
The hotel has a spa center, where both quite traditional treatments and rather original ones are offered. What do you think about a scrub with tomatoes, pineapples, and wasabi or a bath with champagne? The fitness center is open around the clock. I also want to attend yoga classes, especially since there are sup-yoga lessons in the pool.
For families, it's better to choose a villa in this hotel. There are options ranging from one to four bedrooms. Each will also have a private pool, sun terrace, and a living room. Some even have a kitchenette.
Breakfast is served in the Boneka restaurant in the mornings. In almost every review, I read thanks to the waiters of this restaurant from parents. The staff was very attentive to the wishes of young visitors, also entertaining them and giving gifts. There is also a restaurant on the beach and a separate one with local cuisine. I was also pleased with the café offering pastries and chocolate and the bars featuring live music.
The hotel is decent primarily because of the staff's attitude towards children. For me, a good vacation means not feeling like we are disturbing someone else's rest. I don't think that will be a problem here. And of course, a beach with no high waves, where we can all swim together — that's wonderful!

Families with children often stay at this hotel, so I wanted to read more about it. There will be plenty to entertain everyone, and they will definitely love the place where popcorn and cotton candy are served all day long.
Of course, there is a kids' club here where they engage in creativity, yoga, dance, play on the Playstation, and have fun in the pool with balls. I read the reviews, and everyone was very satisfied with both the club and the entertainers. In the lobby, you can freely grab popcorn and cotton candy. It's a celebration every day! There is also an aquarium with fish and food for them. Most children are thrilled with this activity. The hotel does not have a special pool for toddlers, but the three-story pool has a shallow section. However, a large water park, Waterbom Bali, is just a 20-minute drive away. Tickets can be purchased online in advance.
The beach near the hotel is sandy, but it is uncomfortable to swim there with children due to the waves. It is a 5-minute walk away, and there is a shuttle to it and to the city.
At the hotel spa, you can receive treatments for the whole body, and there are also classes in yoga, pilates, and stretching. The fitness center is open at all times, which means you can work out in the morning or evening. There are pools for children and adults, including one with a swim-up bar and a fountain.
In the family room, there are two double beds, a bathroom with a shower, and a living area. A suite with two rooms would also be suitable. One room has a wide double bed, and the other has two single beds. There are also two bathrooms, both with a separate bathtub and shower. There is a living room and a balcony. In double rooms, there is the possibility to add a cot, so it is quite possible to accommodate there with a child under 3 years old.
The hotel has a restaurant with international cuisine and a steakhouse, as well as a poolside bar. There is also a fun food truck with Mexican food at the entrance. Most guests were satisfied with the menu, especially at breakfast.
There are not as many children's activities in this hotel as in the others from the selection. Nevertheless, I see that families with little ones often stay there and everyone seems quite satisfied with their vacation.

If I had been brought to a place like this in my childhood, I would have been thrilled! A wonderful hotel for family vacations. I fear that the younger ones won't even want to leave.
Of course, there is a kids' club here. Every day, animators come up with various activities: there are creative workshops, music classes, plant care in a special forest area, as well as fishing, archery, pool games, board games, and cooking master classes. There are programs for teenagers as well.
Particular attention should be paid to the agro-forest on the premises, where vegetables, fruits, and herbs are grown, which are used for preparing dishes in the hotel's restaurants. Guests can stroll there, and children will definitely find it interesting. Even more exciting is to pet the animals and feed the fish. This can also be done near the hotel. In the Animal garden, there are otters, ducks, turtles, rabbits, turkeys, goats, cows, and even deer. I would also like to go on a family bike tour of the surroundings, through a local village and rice fields. The hotel provides bicycles, a guide, water, and towels.
I have no words to describe the pool at this place. And there are three of them! The first is a scenic infinity pool. It's simply incredible what a view opens up from there. There's also a lower pool, cozily hidden among the trees. If you order a floating breakfast or afternoon tea, it will be served here, and the area will be closed for other guests for a while. And of course, there is a children's pool. Its depth is only 45 cm, so even small guests can feel safe in it. For entertainment, there's a waterfall, and nearby are sun loungers for parents. And also – the water in the pools is heated, so you won't have to worry when the kids stay in it too long.
While the children are busy with their entertainment, we can visit the spa center. There are quite a few programs for the whole body, and there is even a beauty salon. The fitness center is open 24 hours, so you can work out early in the morning while the children are still sleeping, or in the evening when they have already fallen asleep. I also want to attend yoga classes. And afterwards, relax in the steam room or sauna. There is also a two-kilometer outdoor running track and a golf course on the property.
I found an interesting offer on the hotel website. When booking a Premier Twin Room, two children under 12 can stay for free. The price of this package also includes a buffet breakfast and airport transfer for stays of 4 nights or more. The room will have two large beds, a separate bathtub and shower, and a balcony with a view of the tropical forest. If you need a baby cot, it will be provided upon request. There is a mini-fridge and a kettle. You can also choose family rooms that accommodate up to 6 people. Also, take a look at the suites with one or two bedrooms, a separate living room, and a jacuzzi on the terrace.
The hotel restaurant is open all day, serving breakfast in a buffet style, lunch, and dinner from a menu. In reviews, I read that guests were satisfied with the restaurant, and the children also found their favorite dishes. There is a café and bar by the pool, where you can sit in a chair right in the water. In the lobby — a beautiful lounge, where coffee, pastries, and cocktails are served.
I am simply in love with this hotel. I'm sure the children will be thrilled with the activities in the club, the animals, and the walks. Of course, I am happy that there is a spa center, and I am already dreaming of diving into the magnificent swimming pool with a view of the rainforest and mountains.
