Not everyone goes to Paris to see the Eiffel Tower or stroll along the Champs-Élysées. Although even when I come for business, I always try to combine pleasure with work and visit one of my favorite places. But today, we will talk about hotels located near the Saint-Louis Hospital, which specializes in dermatology, hematology, and oncology. From time to time, I need to come here, so I usually try to stay nearby. I will tell you about the best five-star options. The image galleries and prices get refreshed with the latest updates regularly. They were last updated on May 09, 2025.

The next hotel, Sinner Paris, impressed me just as much as the first one. It is also very stylishly designed, although in completely different colors and solutions. But I was pleased to see that there are many bright colors here, and it is scientifically proven: bright colors elevate the mood! It is evident that attention was paid to the details here.
The hotel is located 1.5 kilometers from the Saint-Louis Hospital: it is a 24-minute walk without any ups and downs, 20 minutes by taxi, or 16 minutes by public transport. Not in the next building, but still quite close and convenient. For comfort, I would probably order a taxi anyway, because such a walk might seem too long after visiting the clinic.
Although I chose based on location, the clear advantage for me is the interior. It is very beautiful here, and the light-filled lobby, stylish orange chairs, and colorful glass are a joy to behold. The breakfast area with a view of greenery is also lovely. The rooms have a cozy sofa, antique doors, figurines, and lamps in a modern style. Two floor-to-ceiling windows and two sinks in the bathroom add convenience: my husband and I always compete over whose turn it is to brush their teeth, so this option is simply a find. There is also a spa with massage, hammam, and jacuzzi.
Very decent hotel, though it is located further away from the Saint-Louis hospital than the first one in the selection. But still within a short walk or a quick taxi ride, so it fully meets my criteria.
Maison Breguet
- Distance from city center:
- 2.1 km
- Bar / Lounge
- Massage
- Massage / Beauty Centre
- Free Wi-Fi
- WiFi
- Garden
- Air Conditioned
Moving on, we find ourselves in the very beautiful, clean, stylish Maison Breguet. It is located close to the center and Saint-Louis Hospital, and judging by the reviews, the staff here is very friendly (they speak English and French).
Maison Bréguet is located 2 km from the hospital. It's quite a walk here, about 30 minutes - I wouldn't walk, but would order a taxi instead, there won't be any issues with that, and it will only take 10-12 minutes. The area itself is nice, central, and during free time, you can walk to Place de la Bastille or the Seine embankment.
I chose the hotel not only in terms of location but also so that it would be comfortable to relax, just sitting in the room, which means there should be a beautiful and comfortable bathroom, bathrobes, and a spa. This hotel has all of that, but the room is not very spacious, although that's quite typical for Paris. The area starts from 14 sq. m.
I liked the green area of the restaurant where breakfast is served. By the way, it can also be ordered to the room. Another pleasant detail that caught my eye: the staff prepares the room for sleep in the evening, makes the bed, and brings treats and cookies. It's convenient that you can use the laundry service.
A decent option at a reasonable price. According to reviews, there are soft bathrobes, slippers, and comfortable beds, so getting a good night's sleep and resting will not be difficult. When you arrive somewhere for medical reasons, I have noticed that getting enough sleep is very important – it reduces stress, and the results of tests and procedures are much better.
Hotel Parister
- Distance from city center:
- 2.1 km
- Bar / Lounge
- Massage
- Massage / Beauty Centre
- Free Wi-Fi
- WiFi
- Garden
- Restaurant
I immediately liked this small hotel when I saw that the rooms have a terrace with a view of the Parisian rooftops. It's a very romantic, melancholic view that I would like to enjoy if I find myself here. I also noticed that there is a large (by city hotel standards) indoor pool.
There are not many hotels near Saint-Louis hospital, so you have to walk some distance or drive. From Hotel Parister, it is only 2 km to the hospital, which is about half an hour on foot, so I would recommend ordering a taxi instead – that would take about 15-18 minutes. You can also take public transportation, but that will also be around 30 minutes. The main attractions are quite far from here, but if you are not visiting for tourism purposes, there are plenty of places to take a walk in the evening.
I can't say that I am thrilled with this hotel, but it is quite pleasant and has everything I need. The design is rather simple and concise, not distracting. The rooms are small, but that is typical for Paris. Reviews mention that the beds and pillows are very comfortable, and that is the most important thing! I also liked that there is a pool, spa center, and hammam.
I think this is a nice and quite budget-friendly hotel for such a location in Paris. It may not fully meet the five-star level – the rooms are small, and there are not many amenities. But overall, it's a good option for those who came for examinations or treatment at the Saint-Louis Hospital.
Hotel Dupond-Smith
- Distance from city center:
- 1.1 km
- Bar / Lounge
- Massage
- Massage / Beauty Centre
- Free Wi-Fi
- WiFi
- Air Conditioned
- Mini Bar
The last one I decided to include in my selection is Hotel Dupond-Smith. It is conveniently located - not far from the hospital, but also close to the city center. Each room is decorated in its own individual style, I especially liked the unusual chandeliers.
Hotel Dupond-Smith is located just over 2 km from the hospital. I recommend ordering a taxi – the hotel staff will be happy to assist – the drive will take about 15 minutes. The building itself is located near the banks of the Seine, the Island of Cité, and Notre-Dame, so during your free time from visiting the hospital, there will be plenty of places to stroll and enjoy the beauty of Paris!
The rooms are almost 1.5 times more spacious than those in the previous version! After all, space is very important, especially if you spend a lot of time in the hotel. The rooms feature many pleasant details that catch your attention: a full mini-bar with snacks, board games, excellent cosmetics, air fresheners. You can order breakfast in the room, and the bed is magnificent. Upon check-in, you are greeted with a croissant and a welcome cocktail. Everything you need to feel like a valued guest.
At first, I didn't pay much attention to this hotel because I wasn't impressed by its appearance. But then I read the description and especially the reviews and realized that not every place treats its guests with such care and love. And perhaps this is exactly what you need when you come for treatment – to be surrounded by care at every step. So, I really liked the hotel, and I recommend considering it as an option!
I managed to gather five wonderful options located within 1-2 km of the Saint-Louis Hospital. Almost all hotels have a spa center, and some even have a swimming pool and terraces with a view, so I would recommend choosing them to surround yourself with maximum comfort. The Renaissance Paris Republique Hotel & Spa suits me the best in terms of location, design, and other advantages.

Saint-Louis Hospital is located in the 10th district of Paris, more precisely – 10th arrondissement, and this location is convenient because it is near the eastern train station Gare de l'Est. We usually travel around Europe by train. The hotel caught our attention with its unusual rounded window shapes, beautiful design, and seemed very suitable for relaxation after visiting the doctors.
The Renaissance Paris République is only 1 km from the Saint-Louis Hospital. It's very convenient, as you can simply walk for 15 minutes. I love to stroll, look around – it's a kind of meditation for me. You can take a bus or a taxi, but the journey will still take 11-13 minutes, so it's not really a question of saving time, but rather convenience and conserving energy. Sometimes you don't feel like walking, especially in bad weather, and if you've undergone any procedures, it's generally not recommended to walk at all. It's better to get to the hotel as soon as possible and rest.
I liked the hotel for its stylish, bright decor: the modern design with rounded windows and wooden window sills interestingly combines retro style with the latest fashion trends. I admire the designers who create such interiors! Everything here is very harmonious. Nothing catches the eye unnecessarily, but it's pleasant to look at and stay in such rooms. It's great that there are three windows in the rooms.
I appreciated that there is a spa center, which for me is the perfect way to relieve tension; I want to go to the sauna or relax in the hot tub. There is also a gym, but I probably won't go there. Interestingly, the bar hosts meetings once a month featuring local artists. I love visual arts, especially French!
I think this hotel is just the right option after visiting the hospital. After all, the main thing is to get a good night's sleep in your room (a sound sleep always contributes to recovery!), relax in an unobtrusive setting. If possible, visit a massage or other treatments, take a walk in a pleasant neighborhood.
