Only positive emotions remain with me after my stay at Hotel Carlton Lyon - MGallery Hotel Collection 4*. It's love at first sight! And what captivated me the most was the beautiful interior of the hotel and its details. The stained glass between the floors looks so beautiful, and that miniature elevator with the patterned door is a beauty!

Breakfasts are another advantage of the hotel. For their variety and taste, I confidently give the highest score of 10 points. Yes, in the morning, the meals are served in a buffet format, which includes pastries, hot and cold appetizers, yogurts, cereals, desserts, vegetables, and fruits. Among the hot dishes, I saw an omelet. The atmosphere in the restaurant is calm and relaxed. No queues or crowds. If needed, missing dishes are promptly brought out.

What could be better than living in a room with a panoramic view of the square, the fortress, and the Old Town? Absolutely beautiful! As for the actual space, despite the hotel's historic building, the room has a modern interior and furniture. And, by French standards, the rooms are spacious. For my convenience: slippers, a bathrobe, a hairdryer, a tea and coffee set, and a TV. The wi-fi and all equipment work excellently. The bed turned out to be not only large but also incredibly comfortable. And also, the sound insulation here is fabulous. No outside noises with the windows closed and through the walls of neighboring rooms. 

I couldn't have chosen a better hotel. I felt good here, it was beautiful, comfortable, and the attractions were just a stone's throw away.

Aparthotel Adagio Lyon Patio Confluence 4* — the perfect choice for active tourists, as the hotel is located very close to all significant city attractions. And what a wonderful breakfast they serve here. This option turned out to be a true find for me.

The breakfasts are great! It's a buffet with a wide range of European food — a record amount of pastries, cold appetizers, cheese and meat cuts, yogurts, and fruits. I found it delicious. The only thing is, I would like to see more hot dishes. You can snack both in the middle of the restaurant and outside. I chose the fresh air. Besides the food, I enjoyed the sunshine and the singing of birds. By the way, the rooms have a kitchenette with a stove, microwave, and all the essentials for cooking. Therefore, there is an opportunity to prepare lunch and dinner yourself.

Great location of the hotel. Within walking distance is not only the Perrach train station, but also the ancient art museum, and the Catholic Church of Saint Blandin. Plus, shops, restaurants, and shopping centers. With such a busy schedule, I returned only late in the evening. 

Wonderful hotel. It can confidently be considered for relaxation for couples and groups.

Recently, this has become one of my favorite hotels in Lyon. Hôtel Edmond W 3* made the list thanks to positive reviews from tourists. The first thing guests evaluated was the breakfast. In fact, the food and location received the highest ratings.

The buffet in this hotel is magnificent. After all, I saw all my favorites in the selection of dishes. I happily started my day with oatmeal, to which I added nuts, dried fruits, and milk. I also enjoyed the croissants, chocolate spread, ham, and hard French cheeses. Yes, the breakfast is marvelous, with a wide selection of gluten-free dishes. Guests have the opportunity to read magazines during breakfast. Throughout the day, you can enjoy pastries in the lobby.

How great it is when the hotel is within walking distance to attractions, yet located on a quiet alley. The distance to the famous "Tour du Crédit" skyscraper is only 1 km, which translates to no more than 15 minutes. The square of Terro is a bit further away — about 25 minutes. Everything is so close here that I never had to use transportation services. Walking the streets of the city was a real pleasure. 

The hotel exceeded my expectations to the fullest. If possible, I will definitely return here.

Radisson Blu Hotel, Lyon 4* — it's the case when the city was at my feet. Just imagine, with what a view, and this is the 38th floor, I fell asleep and woke up every morning. Also, this hotel has delicious food and treats guests with attention from the moment they step in.

The breakfast features a buffet with a variety of hot and cold dishes. The choice of snacks, pastries, and fruits is overwhelming. Everything is appetizing and looks so beautiful. If you like, start your day with a fluffy omelet, vegetables, red fish, and cheese, or try oatmeal with milk or pieces of fruit, or alternatively, take scrambled eggs and crispy bacon. Everything here is equally delicious. The breakfast includes everything and even a little more, including soy milk and gluten-free products.

Got the room incredibly quickly. I was checked in even earlier than the scheduled time. Cool! As for the room, it was exactly like the photos on the website: bright, spacious, with modern decor and good furniture. For comfort, there was even a kettle, a variety of tea and coffee, a television, air conditioning, a mini-bar, and toiletries. My sleep here was deep thanks to the comfortable bed and the presence of thick curtains. 

This hotel is luxurious by all standards. Its price fully corresponds to the concept.

My utmost delight with the chosen hotel. For lovers of creative design and modern technology, welcome to Mama Shelter Lyon 3*. A hotel complex that guarantees guests a beautiful stay and quality service. Breakfasts here also hold a high position in the ranking. 

What a variety of dishes are available at the buffet! There are meat and sausage cuts, soft and hard French cheeses, egg dishes in any form on individual order, croissants, pancakes, fruits, and vegetables. Also available are freshly squeezed juice, tea, coffee from capsules, and water. For a 3-star hotel category, this is incredible. The atmosphere in the restaurant is friendly and comfortable for long stays. On weekdays, breakfast starts at 6:30, and on weekends at 7:00.

With such a diverse range of entertainment, you can hardly step outside the hotel. Moreover, the entertainment program is provided for children as well. Parents with children can play foosball or watch free on-demand movies in HD format. In the evenings, I played table tennis, and one of the days I attended a concert program in the bar. 

Wonderful hotel and vacation! Now I know where to return with the kids.

Adagio Access Lyon Centre Université 3* — a suitable option for an unpretentious tourist. Compact rooms, simple decor. But despite this, the hotel serves delicious food and constantly pampers guests with attention. Additionally, the hotel complex is conveniently located. The journey to the nearest attraction, the city square René Viviani, takes only 10 minutes.

The cost of my stay included breakfast. And considering the hotel category of 3*, it was quite decent. It is served here in a buffet format, which includes pastries, yogurts, cold snacks, and several types of fruits. Everything is fresh and tasty. For me, a lover of porridge and scrambled eggs, these dishes were lacking. But if desired, I could prepare them myself in the room. It is equipped with a mini-kitchen with a stove, microwave, dishes, and a refrigerator. I almost forgot: breakfast in the restaurant is available from 6:30 to 10:00 AM. The most guests come between 8:00 and 8:30.

I spent my weekend in a double room. Upon check-in, I immediately noticed its cleanliness and amenities. Everything necessary for a comfortable and carefree stay is provided here. A mini-kitchen, a folding table, a bed, bedside tables, TV, air conditioning. The bathroom is compact, but I appreciated the impeccably functioning plumbing and good water pressure.   

Overall, not bad. And for the purpose of staying overnight at the hotel, nothing more is needed.

On my next day of vacation, I spent it by the banks of the Rhône River at Hotel Parksaône 3*. Visually, this hotel is quite different from the previous ones. Its design is modern. Moreover, it is located closer to the northern outskirts of Lyon, where most buildings are constructed in a high-tech style.

Breakfast at this place is simple, but hearty and delicious. The main dishes of the buffet include cold appetizers, egg dishes, fried bacon, and homemade pastries. I happily started my day with a light and aromatic croissant, farmhouse butter, camembert cheese, and a meat platter. I preferred to drink americano. And the coffee here is tasty. In addition, there are several types of juice, tea, and water. My breakfast took place with a beautiful view of the garden and the river. I enjoyed the scenery and the tranquil atmosphere.

I got a room with a luxurious bathroom! Plus, as a bonus, I received an upgraded one with a stunning view from the panoramic windows – the Rhône River and a bridge in the distance. For my comfortable stay, there was everything, including dark curtains. And the hotel is located in a quiet area, so I can sleep with the windows open. As for the bed, it turned out to be of standard size. But I have no complaints about its comfort.

My stay here was in a relaxing style. I managed to regain my strength and prepare for an active program ahead.

For lovers of modern hotels, welcome to the Campanile Lyon Centre - Gare Part Dieu 3*. It made my top list of affordable places due to its convenient location and delicious breakfasts. However, after visiting, it turned out that the complex boasts hospitality, the presence of a well-equipped area in the courtyard, and high-speed wi-fi.

Overall, I was satisfied with the breakfasts. The food selection is diverse, plus you could start the day with healthy products. I added milk, nuts, and dried fruits to the oatmeal. I also really liked the tasty cold snacks. Fresh, crispy baguette with hard cheese and cherry tomatoes was my favorite. I managed to try the yogurts as well. Delicious, but nothing special. However, I was pleased with the seasonal fruits. The watermelon melted in my mouth from its sweetness. I almost forgot: they prepare fresh juice in the mornings. I recommend it instead of coffee.

The perfect location of the hotel for me. Right opposite the Per Dier railway station and the Phoneexpress tram express to Lyon center at the airport. Considering my plans, it couldn't be better. Plus, within a 5-minute walk, there is the Lafayette Gallery shopping center. However, there are a limited number of restaurants and cafes in this area. I couldn't find anything suitable for myself, so I had dinner at the hotel restaurant. 

I am satisfied with the chosen option. Now I know where to find coziness and cleanliness.

Excellent! In this hotel, you can stay with your four-legged friends. It is popular among tourists – Warwick Reine Astrid - Lyon 4*. Moreover, the hotel complex boasts a great location opposite the Parc Oxygène, friendly staff, delicious breakfasts, and excellent comfort.

The hotel breakfasts are wonderful and pleased me with their variety. I could always find egg dishes, sausages, meat and sausage assortments, vegetable salads, snacks, as well as fresh pastries and fruits on the buffet menu. Everything was delicious and fresh without exception. In good weather, you can have a snack outside. I did not notice any crowds in the restaurant during breakfast.

The room is exactly as shown in the photos! A sufficiently large room with modern renovations and everything necessary for a carefree vacation. And the cleanliness all around: not a speck of dust or litter. All the furniture: bed, sofa, wardrobe, tables, chairs, armchairs, bench were in perfect condition. By the way, my room was equipped with a kitchen. Therefore, if desired, you can cook lunches and dinners yourself. For the convenience of tourists, there is an induction stove, microwave, refrigerator, and even a dishwasher. There is also a complete set of dishes: pots, frying pan, baking dish, plates.  

My weekend here flew by in an instant. I didn't have enough time for a full and leisurely rest.

I spent the last day of my vacation at ibis Styles Lyon Centre - Gare Part-Dieu 3*. I was pleased with my choice. Besides the included breakfasts, it was convenient for me to get to the train station, which is within walking distance. Also, the hotel has underground parking.

The hotel breakfast is served in a buffet format, featuring a variety of national French dishes. Sausages, cheeses, pastries, fruits, vegetables, cereals, yogurt, jams. It may seem like nothing special, but the offered products are delicious and made with care. By the way, when something runs out, the staff immediately replenishes the missing items. Among the drinks, I recommend guests try the coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. 

I have never lived with a view of arriving and departing trains. Unusual, but interesting. Moreover, thanks to the excellent sound insulation, I only saw the trains. Yes, my room turned out to be small, but warm, clean, cozy, and, most importantly, spacious. After all, everything I needed for my comfort was here. I was especially pleased with the convenience of the bed. For the first time in a long period, I slept like at home. 

The proximity to the train station made it possible to get there on foot. Convenient and economical.
