We are currently staying at this hotel. The food is great, quite diverse. Cocktails, juices, sodas are unlimited in beach bars. Snacks. We took sun loungers by the pool (the kids wanted to be closer to the pool), and simply walked to the sea for swimming. The lagoon is closed, no fish. They only sometimes came in the evenings. There were no mosquitoes in the rooms at all. In the evenings by the swings, occasionally. There are always plenty of free sun loungers by the sea. Animation, aqua aerobics. The Hurghada Museum and Oceanarium (they call it Aquarium) are very close to the hotel. Today they closed the water slides for 15 days to work on heating this pool. The rooms are simple, but always clean. Water is constantly being refilled. In addition, there is always water in the bars, at breakfast, lunch, dinner, in unlimited bottles.

avatar

Hello, please tell me, did you ask about the renovation period of the water park, which will last 15 days? I am planning to go on vacation with my child, and of course, I would like to ride the slides.

avatar

We asked, they said the repair will be completed within 15 days. Only one slide is operating - the "vatrushki" slide.

avatar

Children can also ride on the inflatable rings, with 2 people per ring.

Yesterday he flew away. There were no mosquitoes. There are plenty of loungers, and you can always find a free spot. As a last resort, there are ottomans. It's allowed to reserve a lounger with a towel, but I didn't risk it because there have been cases when towels could be stolen. The hotel has decent alcohol. I read reviews where people said it wasn't great, but in reality, it's fine. A couple of times, I came across poorly washed glasses. They rinse them with water. And then, it seems like they go in the dishwasher. So, there is no direct contact with the glasses manually. The glass ones were always clean. This is a question regarding the plastic ones. Out of a billion glasses I've drunk from, having two poorly washed ones is not a big deal 😉

We arrived from the hotel today... It was our second time there (husband's choice). This time we were assigned a more or less decent room on the second floor with a view of the neighboring hotel under construction, but it doesn't matter to us, at least it's quiet, except for the morning barking of dogs. Rooms with pool access seem noisy to me due to the evening entertainment. The food, just like last time, was enjoyable, quite fresh. There were apples, oranges, guava, melon, dates once, and watermelons three times among the fruits. The season for strawberries and mangoes had ended. The waiters are great, working like bees, of course, the Germans are practically "licking their fingers." We tried 4 À la carte restaurants, also quite decent. I attended the morning exercise every day, led by the animators Kola and Memo, great guys. There is a kids club, I saw they engage with the children, conducting workshops. The pools were warm, unlike our December vacation (when the water was icy), we enjoyed the water park. The sea is cool in the morning, warmer after noon. There are few fish, we almost saw a small stingray every day, once a manta ray swam close to the pier. In the evenings, we strolled around Mamsha (a beautiful street near the hotel exit), bothered only by the vendors with their eternal "can I ask just one question?🤣". Nearby is a Carrefour store with fixed prices, similar to our Five, we bought some melons with guava. And now for the unpleasant part: out of 13 holidays in Egypt, for the first time, our beach towel was stolen from the sunbed while we were at lunch. We couldn't resolve the situation with the beach staff, towel distribution staff, reception, or guide. I understand that we are responsible for their loss, but I believe that open theft should be fought against to preserve one's reputation. In the end, we couldn't access the surveillance cameras, so we shrugged it off and paid 200 pounds for the loss. So, be attentive. Overall, the vacation was successful, the weather was fantastic, and the Red Sea was wonderful. Wishing everyone a great mood!

Hello) Bracelets are not cut off, at 12 o'clock you check out, your belongings are stored in the storage room, before your flight they give you half an hour to wash up or they will send you to the sauna. There was no iron or ironing board, there were enough sunbeds for us, nobody took one and was absent from the beach for the whole day. Mosquitoes only bit in the evening near the swings and in the burger restaurant on the street. The hotel is very good, the food is excellent, in the mornings there is a choice of freshly squeezed juice, a coffee machine in the main restaurant and in all bars, packaged juices, glasses are washed in the bars, I just wrote that they don't wash them and I specifically brought this to their attention).

We were in December 2023, the hotel was very pleasing in terms of location, food, and territory. The only thing that we were unlucky with was the room, for the first time in my life we had to change it, the repairs were done hastily, and there is no soundproofing. But if you don't nitpick about the room, I recommend the hotel👍

avatar

Have you not been to the abandoned beach on the left?

avatar

They didn't let in there.

avatar

Thank you) there is a nice little beach, you could before

Good evening. We were there at the end of March - beginning of April 2023. For 2 days there was a very strong wind, it was cool to come out of the pools. The sea is cold, 22 degrees. It is hot during the day, +30. There is no reef here. The food is delicious, the alcohol is normal. Entering the sea with young children is normal, there is a lagoon, but the water is cold at the beginning of April. The territory is beautiful and compact. The rooms are old but everything works. You can sign up for à la carte as much as you want with a QR code. I liked the Asian and burger. There is a children's table in the restaurant, with pasta, mashed potatoes, meatballs, French fries, vegetables, a TV with cartoons. One heated pool and one for toddlers. The water park has no heating. There is a kids club and a small playground. There were no poisoning or disorders for us or the children, aged 10 and 3. But, if anything, there is a pharmacy opposite, with very cheap medicines. Overall, I believe the food is very decent for a 4-star hotel.

We arrived yesterday and were greeted with a warm welcome... lots of delicious food and plenty to drink! It's a bit chilly, but the sun feels great during the day, especially coming from -28 degrees, you can imagine! People are swimming everywhere, it just depends on how warm the water is, but there aren't as many people today, which is a big plus for me. 😂 I went to the gym today, it was good. As for the downsides, the rooms are probably a bit tired, but from what I know, they clean everything in Egypt. They make swans and elephants, so it all depends on the mood you're in when you come. The entertainment program is good, they take care of the kids. There are plenty of pools, both heated for the little ones and for adults. The rest are naturally cold, but January is the coldest month.

In the hotel, the cleanliness of the water park is 4 out of 5. The food is also 4 out of 5, with a good variety but not the best in my opinion. The alcohol is just okay, but I'm not much of a drinker. The service is very good. The hotel and the beach are decent. There are a lot of children there, so we went to other beaches where hardly anyone was swimming. Our beach, which is just 10 minutes away from the hotel, is nice compared to the others, although the Rixos beach is definitely better.

Impressions are 50/50. The rooms are average (we stayed on the first floor with access to the pools) and require major renovation. The animation is great. The food is excellent. Taking a walk in Mamsha is a pleasure. There is no real beach. Overall, it's okay, but I won't go there again. ☝🏼Bring a mosquito repellent. There are some annoying biting insects flying around. There are enough power outlets.

avatar

What about the beach?

avatar

There is no shore in the open sea as usual. There is a lagoon. Only piers go into the sea. Somehow it didn't work out.

What's the weather like now? Is the aquapark with heated pools?

avatar

The weather is around 25-26 degrees. The sea is approximately 22-23 degrees. It's chilly when you start swimming 😉 The water park is without heating. The pool in the center of the hotel's territory, which is divided with a heated children's pool.

avatar

Is there no wind?

In different ways. It starts in the morning and then subsides.

We liked everything. We returned just 5 days ago. The food was delicious, the pools were heated, the staff was polite, and the animators were reasonable and not intrusive. The only downside was the access to the sea from the beach. And the rooms were not wow new. But everything was working fine, and there were no issues with anything or anyone. We had a good rest.

avatar

Please clarify how many heated swimming pools have been counted? Is it just one large one like before?

avatar

He is like number 1, but transitioning from one to 2. 1 is 120 degrees and 2 is 160 degrees. The one at 160 degrees is very warm, it's even hot in it.

We are currently in this hotel. There are pros and cons. Pros: The food is great, there is a lot of variety. They even have mangoes as a fruit option. The hotel grounds are very picturesque, with plenty of relaxation areas. Cons: The sand at the beach entrance is not very good, it's construction sand. The sea water is a bit murky, and there are floating plastic bags and cups. The rooms are old, not very well-maintained. However, we lucked out with a great room location, with a view of the pool. The sea water is still a little chilly. The two pools are heated. In the evenings, it's preferable to wear something with long sleeves.

We liked the hotel! There are no questions about the food, it is diverse and delicious. The animation is good👍. The only downsides are that the rooms are not new and the beach is small. But overall, everything is great. The staff is friendly, and there are many people. The hotel is fully booked. The internet works throughout the territory. There will be a fire show tonight. Come, it's really cool here! The water is warm, plus the pool is heated! The food is tasty, they entertain, and it's not just for show. Everything here feels genuine! Even the food feels homemade. The staff is polite. Initially, we booked the Sigal Hotel, but a week before departure, the hotel canceled our reservation. I was so upset. But now I don't regret it at all. It doesn't even compare to Sigal!

avatar

I support it! 100%. The hotel is definitely better than Sigal!

We rested in June with our 12-year-old daughter for 21 days. It was our second time staying at this hotel. Very decent. The sea entrance is a lagoon. No corals. All the juices are from packets! The food is good. The rooms are tired... We stayed with a view of the abandoned hotel for the second time. We liked it, it was quiet! The service is also good. There are a la carte restaurants - free of charge. Well, you can go once. The hotel is located on Mamsha Street. There are shopping centers nearby and a Russian pharmacy not far away, we walked there. We took a taxi to the bowling alley and the marina. We checked the prices on Uber and approached the taxi drivers who were waiting by the hotel. If the price suited them, we went! There is animation! We liked it.

avatar

Thank you for your feedback! Can you please tell me if there is ice cream available at the hotel?

Yes. There is a vending machine near the pool at the bar. You can just go up to it and take whatever you want.

Just because it is closed with pontoon bridges, visually it is not very appealing to me) but there is depth. And shallow entry too. We used to go to the beaches of the closed neighbors, now it seems like they blocked it off.

Autumn 2021. Of all the places we visited, we only liked the "American" one, their burgers were amazing. We didn't go to the Korean place - it was always busy and we don't really like spicy food, and we were told that spicy food can upset our stomachs. The dishes at the other places didn't impress us, and there was also some issue with the reservation: we booked a table for a specific date at a restaurant (it has two kitchens that operate on different days near the pools), but when we arrived, it turned out to be the other kitchen that day, so our reservation was cancelled. Also, when we were there, 60% of the guests were locals, maybe that's why the cuisine catered more to them. Local guests were served all the meat at dinner, while we got bones. The first two days when we arrived - everything was just for us. We used to pick up our food ourselves, but then they switched to a Covid-19 infection control mode.

It seems that everything has changed a lot since 2021. There are no complaints about the food at all. There are very few locals, with equal numbers of Russians, Germans, Poles, and Ukrainians. We were served the same in the restaurant, and alcohol was brought to us. At the pool, they brought us loungers if we didn't have enough.
