As the hotel owner Robert Robertson shared, this interesting idea was inspired by one of the tourists. At that time, Robert was planning trips around Iceland for travelers. One day, a client called him, who, while waiting for the Northern Lights, climbed a mountain and ended up freezing solid: "Robert, this is madness. I'm freezing to death here (he probably didn't dress warmly enough). Do you know of any hotel where I can just lie in a warm bed and watch the Northern Lights through a glass roof?".

And Robertson decided to open such a hotel.

The bubble hotel is warm and cozy, it is one of the best options for observing the Northern Lights in comfort. The rooms are well heated, and nearby there are a kitchen and a bathroom.

The 5 Million Star Hotel is located around an hour's drive from Reykjavik. The cost of a night under the stars ranges from 250 to 300 dollars.
