In Georgia, a hotel made from shipping containers inspired by the mountains has been built.
The Quadrum Hotel has the shape of a pyramid, with mountains serving as the inspiration for its creators. This unusual creation, made up of shipping containers, was designed by architects Sandro Ramishvili and Irakli Eristavi. The hotel, built in a minimalist style, seems to mimic the local landscapes as it cascades down the slope.
The idea behind this project is to protect the environment from the harmful effects of human work and leisure. During the construction of the hotel, not only was no damage done to the landscape, but exclusively environmentally friendly materials of local production were used. Quadrum is the first boutique hotel in Upper Gudauri, Georgia.
It is worth noting that this hotel looks simply wonderful and particularly striking up close.
