We liked this hotel right away: the area is not only accessible but also comfortable for people with disabilities. Unfortunately, this is a rarity, although everything is positioned differently. There is an elevator here, facilities in the toilet and bathroom, and the necessary handrails at the entrance. We are even willing to forgive the absence of lunches and dinners and order deliveries instead.

The hotel is located in the adjacent building to the clinic, and the walk will take a couple of minutes, or maybe less. It's so convenient, as you won't even have to cross the road. Remembering my husband's list of procedures and that part of the time he will be moving in a wheelchair, I realized this is very beneficial for us.

We were so happy to find out that there is a 24-hour front desk here and this time we won't have to plan our flights around the possibility of checking in early. We also liked having an elevator, even though the building isn't that tall. At least we won't have to walk, and when there is a wheelchair involved, there are no options at all.

There is a restaurant and bar at the hotel. Every morning, breakfast is served in a buffet format, where you can create your own option to taste. You can eat there, take food to go – they will provide a container, or even order food to your room. I will go to the restaurant, while my spouse will take a container with them. Very convenient! For lunch and dinner, we will need to find a suitable place, as the restaurant is only open until 10:30 AM.

I want to tell you about another good place — a hostel near Sydney Medical Center at a very affordable price. It didn't work for us for a number of reasons, but perhaps this will be useful for you to know. So, let's start the review. 

The hotel is located just 600 m from the hospital, and to reach it, you need to cross a busy intersection. If there are no mobility issues, this option is definitely right for you.

The hotel has a shared kitchen, and it's very great! You can save money, buy groceries at the supermarket, and cook here. You can also cook for 2 days, as there are several refrigerators and there should be enough space. A very good piece of news is that smoking is not allowed here, as I have asthma and I am particularly sensitive to tobacco smoke. And another very important point: since this is a hostel, we noticed the individual lockers with locks for each guest, which is very convenient.

They offer small double rooms and shared three-bed and four-bed rooms with bunk beds. I was very unsettled by the fact that there are no curtains on the beds and not every bed has a socket. Here, I would only consider individual rooms.

In the previous hostel, I emphasized that there were no curtains on the beds to create any personal space. And for those who care about this and want to save as much as possible, I found the Space Q Capsule Hotel, where there are individual capsules. This is simply a find!

The hotel is a 3-minute leisurely walk from Sydney Medical Center. You will need to cross the road, walk straight, and turn right, and there you are. Of course, it won't take us 3 minutes, but we'll definitely make it in 15.

There are 10 individual capsules located in two tiers in the room. Each one has lighting, a television, and a power outlet. There will also be a storage box, a towel, and shower amenities. You know, it is cozier in this capsule than in many rooms! I have never lived in one like this and would be interested to try.

The entire area has good Wi-Fi, and that's great because many hostels neglect this, and it's so important for me to stay in touch with my husband. When I get bored, I can go to the common area and play video games – can you believe they have that here? There is also a shared kitchen, but in addition to that, there is a vending machine with a variety of snacks; I found chips, chocolate, instant noodles, and soda there.

We really want to highlight this hostel for two reasons: the staff here is very attentive and kind, and it has an accessible environment for people with disabilities. But let's go through everything in order.

The hostel is located on a quiet street and only 300 meters from Sydney Medical Center. To get there, we would have to cross the street, which is a bit difficult with a stroller. So we need to think carefully about this option.

How I love it when there is a choice: here are individual rooms with double and single beds and a private bathroom, and there are also shared rooms for men and women with facilities on the floor. Moreover, there are many shared rooms: there are for 4, 6, 8, and even 10 people.

How great that there is a shared kitchen here where I can prepare breakfasts and, if desired, dinners. We can also buy fruits and dairy products and store everything in the refrigerator.
Our main necessity is the elevator; this time we can't do without it, and it's really wonderful that it's here.
When I read about the common area, I found interesting board games there that we can use to spend the evening and get to know our neighbors.
We will be traveling with suitcases, and we don't want them to get in the way in the room, so it was very good news for us that they offer a storage room where we can put away extra things.

This is the largest hostel in Sydney with super low prices. It has also been completely renovated recently and all the mattresses have been replaced. Of course, I was a bit concerned about the number of rooms, but it has such a high rating that I just can't miss it.

The distance to the medical center is 150 m. It's just great! The location suited us more than well, and most importantly, there is no need to cross large avenues. 

There are double rooms with bunk beds, and there are shared rooms for 6 and 8 people. For me, the plus is that the rooms are mixed — men and women can live there, which means I will always be near my husband and can help him if needed. Each guest has a locker with a lock, which is also very convenient, but unfortunately, our suitcases won't fit in there.

We will have a night flight, and in this place, I don't have to worry about how we will be checked in. Fortunately, there is a 24-hour reception, and we won't have any difficulties with that. 

Since the hostel is large, there are of course shared areas, and I was pleasantly surprised: there are several billiards, a cinema club, and a rooftop terrace with an amazing view of the center of Sydney🤩.

As for food, it's simple: a shared kitchen where you can prepare something, and vending machines with snacks and drinks will come in handy for us.

I found an inexpensive four-star hotel with a pool and a sunbathing area on the roof. And that's so great because I will be able to sunbathe there at lunch, and in the evenings, my husband and I can enjoy the city views. Awesome! But this is not its only advantage, so let me start the review.

The hotel is located 550 m from the medical center. Yes, it is a bit farther than the others, but here I am calm, knowing that there are no busy intersections on our way, from which my eye is already twitching.

Besides the rooftop pool, I will be able to go to the gym; during lunch, I will have nothing to do, so I will spend that time on myself. Also, I would go for a walk in the garden; judging by the photos, it looks very cozy there.

How glad I am when I find places with a restaurant where we can be offered breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Honestly, I do not want to cook, as there will almost be no time for that. For breakfast, we will go to choose something from the buffet. By the way, I read the reviews and was pleased to find that they provide a lot of fruits - we need our vitamins! Also, there is room service for food and drinks, which will also be useful for us.

Here is another good four-star hotel that won't hit our budget hard. I liked that they are very attentive to details here: comfortable mattresses, orthopedic pillows, and soft bed linens for guests. Right now, this is a special point for us. Additionally, although the hotel is located by the road, it is quiet at night, so we will be able to get a good night's sleep.

The hotel is located on the parallel street from the medical center, and the distance is 140 meters. You will need to cross the road at the traffic light, which is generally fine for us.

I can't start my day at all without a cup of espresso, and I was so happy when I found out about the coffee machine in the room. In the evenings, we can go down to the lobby bar and find a board game to suit our mood. We really love "Bang" and "Bunker," and they will definitely be there. Awesome! As for the elevator — yes, it's here, which will be convenient for us.

You can't imagine what a relief it has been for me to have a restaurant in the hotel. I realized that I really don't want to burden myself with cooking, especially in the mornings when I need to quickly get ready and take my husband to his treatments at the medical center. Here we will be served breakfast in a buffet format, featuring what we love: eggs, fruits, toast, and rice porridge with milk. We will also have lunch and dinner here, but with dishes from the menu. It's good that the familiar continental cuisine predominates, so I won't have to spend a lot of time deciding what to snack on.

I liked such a large, clean hostel nearby the medical center. According to the reviews, the staff highly respects the cleanliness code, and, to my surprise, there is even a book exchange. There are many cafes and restaurants nearby where we can eat.

You need to cross the street to the side of Belmore Park, where we can also have a walk in the mornings, then walk another 200 m and we are already at Sydney Medical Center. Very convenient!

The rooftop terrace is just my dream, as we come from a small town where this simply doesn't exist! I have always wanted to be in a place like this at sunset. We will have just enough time to make it after our treatments at the medical center.
Also, I really don't want to buy a local SIM card, and having good Wi-Fi signal in this hotel was great news for me.

The name of the hostel certainly speaks for itself: there are many rooms. There are also double rooms with a double bed and a television, as well as six-bed mixed and female rooms. Everywhere there are large windows and air conditioners, which means it won't be stuffy at night. We were considering the shared mixed room for ourselves, but we are still thinking it over.
I was so surprised to find that each shared room has its own shower and toilet. It's convenient! After all, there will be no need to walk through the hallways where there are so many drafts.

Another convenient network hostel where we found what we have been lacking everywhere: entertainment and activities in the evenings, the opportunity to unwind and socialize with new people. And they will feed us here! Perfect, I think. 

Here is another convenient location for us. The distance to the medical center is only 350 m, and there is no need to cross busy intersections. I always get so nervous when we move through them. Why not build overhead crossings with elevators? It would be so convenient!

I love it when hotels organize various activities and you can interact with neighbors in a pleasant atmosphere. This hotel holds quizzes and trivia evenings, and once a week hosts pizza nights. That’s great! My husband and I really need as many positive emotions as possible during this challenging time.
There is a travel agency at the reception that organizes any tour in Sydney. I might use its services since my day is usually somewhat free, and I really want to explore the city, and with guides, it will be much faster. 
And yes, there is an elevator here! 

Here, in addition to the common kitchen where I can cook for myself, there is also a restaurant. You can have breakfast and lunch there for a small amount of money. Oh yes, how convenient that is! I won't have to constantly think about cooking. And there is also a machine in the hall with chocolates and chips - sometimes that option will do just fine. Overall, I am satisfied.

I want to tell you about a very nice three-star hotel with a cozy cafe, where my husband has already invited me on a date! I’m so happy that he has such positive emotions, it is so important for us during the recovery period.

The hotel is located just 500 meters from the medical center. To get there, you will need to cross the street at the traffic light, walk straight for a bit, and cross a busy avenue. Sometimes this can become a problem when my husband switches to a wheelchair. In that case, it's worth considering the taxi option. We need to think about it. 

The roof is equipped with a sunbathing terrace, where I could go for lunch, since it is inconvenient to travel to the beach during my husband's treatment breaks. The terrace is just perfect.
Oh, what interiors they have in the lobby and restaurant! I would gladly stop by for a snack and read a book. By the way, they serve guests international and local cuisine.
I was surprised to find an area with slot machines. We are not fans, but who knows, someone might want to play.

What spacious rooms! This is just a dream! Although there is a double bed here, it is so large that we will be comfortable. I also liked the private bathroom, which I will definitely fill every evening after dinner to relax properly.
